That’s pretty much all artists. Promoting your work though social media and networking is unavoidable in entertainment except for the select few who have already established their name and brand, and they have a team to do that for them rather than doing it themselves.

I do. That's what I'm doing. No way in hell am I going to risk someone coming back later and saying "uh actually I changed my mind, I don't consent anymore". And you could say "well you'd probably win the court case so that's not a good reason", which may be true but the allegations alone ruin lives and reputations. Fuck that. I had my fun; this next year I'm dedicated to self-improvement and worrying only about myself. I know I'm not the only one, also.

I really don't think so though. At my university, I got tutoring from the best physics major at our school. She's won national awards for her undergraduate research, academic awards for her performance, and she told me that she's felt nothing but welcome in the field. She's going on to do her PhD next year. Maybe it depends on where you are, but I know (for me) some of the most well-respected and successful people in STEM in my life are women.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but what kind of engineering? Im dual majoring in Chemistry and ChemE right now. ChemE is the only field I've ever seen myself doing since I discovered it 5 years ago - more specifically I want to work in the pharmaceutical industry working on drug manufacturing, especially since I love chemistry as much as I do math and physics.

Sounds like a shitty uni, if I'm being honest. Any respectable engineering department wouldn't let that happen. For example, here is an example of senior-level (Mechanical Engineering) Optimal Control of Linear Systems test problem material. They don't test this kind of stuff with multiple-choice, as it defeats the whole purpose of showing your work.

Don't worry, getting an engineering degree is brutal, and those who simply can't keep up won't get the degree. All of the courses are designed that way, to weed out all but the most capable for the field.

I understand that for sure. Again, I'm not opposing awareness. But the idea I was trying to articulate was that those of us who are happy with being circumcised as a child shouldn't have to be upset with not having a choice to be on the same and side share the same viewpoint moving forward. Just because we're happy with our parents' choice doesn't mean we can't push for future parents to give their kids that choice.

I just think he's commenting on how everyone on reddit seems to be trying to convince us that we need to be upset about having been circumcised when we were kids. I'm the same way. I'm happy to have been circumcised at birth, and I'm really not sure if I would let someone cut my dick these days if I wasn't. The thought just freaks me out.

Yea I saw that after I did a little research after I replied. Be careful about statistics on abortions though, the CDC hasn't released any official numbers and statistics since 2015 and individual states have the choice of releasing their numbers or not. Additionally, I can't find any official NY abortion documentation for 2018, just websites stating the case you also brought up but they don't have any sources to look at. The last public statistics release in New York appears to be in 2016
