Well I guess for starters I am okay with because its how I grew up. I was circumcised, raised with a strong foundation in Christianity (where as far as I know circumcision may root from Judiaism, as Christianity does from Judiaism), and I don't see much harm in it. There are many points against it, and I agree with some, but I really can't think of a shit ton of benefits to staying un-cirmcumcised. Listen, we could go on all day, and I think you and I really don't want to spend our day fighting an uphill battle. We can agree to disagree, and move on as supporters of men's rights with differing views. In all honesty I do not plan to circumcise my children, but all I mean is I've come to terms with my own.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but foreskin is not a genital. You must agree with me in the most basic of terms. Honestly I'd rather not continue a debate much longer, since my fellow activists aren't too receiving of my slightly differing opinion.

Well, we can agree to disagree. I think we both have good points, and our own perspectives. Honestly, it's just my opinion and as I said before, I may be okay with my circumcision, but I'm not saying it as a whole topic, is okay. EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm not justifying circumcision with faith. Just saying that's my situation.

Well that's the issue. I prefer it for myself since it has to do with my religion, and also because there are some benefits to it (and drawbacks). Whether it is necessary is or not is a different matter. Honestly it's not in today's society where we are very clean about everything. The issue I find is where it is a circumstance of a parent trying to do what they find right for their child, regardless of what they may be inadvertently doing. I mean, we all have and issues like such with our paren…

No I have looked into circumcisions, I was circumcised for religious reasons, and curious exactly why. Again, I think everyone should have a choice, unlike me. I have just come to terms with my situation, and it wasn't like you could be able to stop the parent, unfortunately. She most likely would have done it even with a community telling her not to.

Don't hate me, but just to play devils advocate, one could argue its message would be more for single mothers who have had to play both roles. I do agree that if reversed (genderwise), someone, somewhere would throw a fuss.
