not all kids without fathers are miserable. I agree, I am a living proof of that. I am happy at the moment, and I am a respectful and empathetic human being. Also, would never ever abandon a kid. But I had also to learn a lot of things on my own that we’re supposed to be taught by a father: driving, tying a tie, how to invite women to go out.

But by doing so, they are being selfish. They are condemning their kids to a life without a father figure and it gets worse when they see other kids with fathers and start comparing their lives with them

Yes, I agree with you on that. But I also think that there may be some kind of proportion related to dating or committing. Maybe the guys most prone to commit are the ones which girls are not willing to date, but they won’t know that because they won’t date those guys. Maybe the guys who get a lot of dates don’t want to commit, since they can get to know many different women that way, but these are ones whom many women like to settle with? I don’t know, it’s just a vague theory that I just made …

Dating is not equal to committing

Also, I wouldn't like to invest a lot of money, energy and time in someone I don't really know and don't know if she is interested in me already.

Indeed, one does feel like a virgin (nervousness and all) when having sex with a new person.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
