6	HOW TO ESCALATE WITH COLLEGE FRESHMAN? I have a follow up question: How big of a deal is it if I just up and ask a freshmen girl out? I'm also a senior. edit: Just a side note- we've only had short exchanges before and maybe only a couple at that. I kind of want to just be like "Yo, wanna grab lunch or something?", but I can't tell if that's weird or not because I always try to get to know the girl first before I ask her out. 4	Just back from a date with a girl i had K-closed. Seddit, I had no idea what I was doing! You can have all the game in the world and a first date will bomb if there's no chemistry. Game is helpful to an extent, you know. Not saying there's no chemistry between you two because I don't know either of you but, in my experience, a first date is where you are most exposed; you have to have something to build off or else the night could just be boring small-talk.
