Yes, but there is also a thin line of if she thinks you aren't interested she will move on.

It sounds great in theory but then if you ever breakup you just feel lonely and back to square one, it is v important to have a group of close friends. Try going on the Meetup app or finding local volunteering/martial art groups.

South UK, normally pretty open/loose down here. I get that and understand the comfort thing and I might be moving a bit too quickly, but then I am also concerned the longer we chat there is less to talk about on the first date and removes any intrigue and mystery, and lowers interest/excitement in meeting.

I am aware that people have it a lot worse off than me however I feel that knowing yourself is key element in being content.

Remind yourself what has happened has happened and there is NOTHING you can do to change it. Nobody thinks about you as much as you think as everyone has there own stuff going on. Do you remember times other people have been anxious/awkward/weird? probably not.

I see... so even though she’s happy to be a plate, she still expects the guy to almost always extend invitation so as to not feel like like a slut? Right.

I feel it, I think that building a bigger roster is the best option with these kinda things. It’s easy to overthink things sometimes, just gotta stay busy/work on ourselves.

It's such a pain in the ass we are wired this way. I've always had a pretty busy life anyway so luckily I'm not just stuck at home, starting BJJ and piano lessons soon as well though. I'm just fighting the urge to keep her on my social media so she feels like shit when she sees all the cool stuff I'm up to, but I know that's immature. Yeah no kids, lucky we broke off the engagement before marriage too. Cheers

Thanks for the reply bro. I know, it's really caught me off guard. I assumed I would be totally fine and she would be begging me to come back, the power change has mindfucked me. Its petty but I love being that "one" ex that girls obsess over, its a nice ego boost, she obviously just isn't bothered. Thanks again, will just try and keep busy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
