Thanks. The way you describe purpose is much less complicated then what I had in mind, I was overthinking it. If "reading 12 books this year" or "running a full marathon" can be considered a purpose then I can get behind something like this.

The vespa probably got you the least. This is exactly why I am not locking down on the scooter. However, car is really problematic here because traffic is really bad, and there is no place for parking. How was having a klx compare to the volvo?

the three options which are on my mind (the Honda CBR250, SYM crysuim and the peugeot 107) are all at the same price (if I calculate part replacement + annual insurance + fuel + initial payment) for the period im planning to use them (5 years). price-wise they are the same. Ok. What about just dropping off the vehicle idea and keep using public transport, will some chicks think riding a bus is cool? I think what I try to figure out is how much of a factor will the scooter be. because even now when I pick up girls i find it hard to arrange meeting up and I think its part for that I dont have a comfertable way to move around.

I heard bikes are chick magnets so the Honda CBR really seems to be the obvious winner in this category. However with a deeper look there are some major disadvantages compare to the scooter: requires oiling the chains every week and putting time into fixing things. no space for storage/cargo.
