In principle, you're correct. I don't believe people, I believe evidence. However I also think that there's a bit of stigma attached to males who come forward about female abusers. Men are told to "man up" while women are carefully listened to. It's a bit emasculating for men to admit to being a victim. This is why there's a reaction of "he must be telling the truth because what real man would make that up and be viewed as somehow weak or flawed". Men just don't operate in the way you're suggest…

I find myself becoming more conservative as I get older. It does seem like more and more marriage is just another version of a relationship that can be cast aside if things become difficult. I should've. The whole interaction muddled quick and then that Lewis' Law was invoked. That "law" was my intention with my post here; to bring up yet another example of complete circular reasoning and a logical short circuit from those who call themselves feminists. Fair point. I just get tired of people being so hyper vigilant for women's issues so I decided to mention what I mentioned. I didn't mean to disappear down the rabbit hole when I first commented and I know I shouldn't have, but when that Lewis' Law thing appeared I just smelled complete stupidity. I realize now that I need to pick my battles with more tact. Thanks. :)

This woman just seems unpleasant in general, but if I had to take an educated guess as to how SJWs will play this, it would be something like; "it's so sad that patriarchy has these oppressed people fighting each other and not uniting to change blah blah blah". Ok. From this subreddit, I've heard discussion on the wage gap. Some say that is doesn't truly exist. I would just ask, if a wage gap between men and women DID exist, that is a man and a woman are doing the same job, the same hours, are equally qualified and the woman is paid less, you'd be in favor of ending that, right?
