Why are men taught so badly about these things? Because . . . feminism. They conflate equality (a good thing) with gender roles. Masculine/feminine roles are a threat to this world view so they (with their media partners) have tried to make such roles a bad thing. "Toxic masculinity" is a direct result. That's the whole point of the red pill I suppose -- to see the truth about what women really like -- try as hard as they might to pretend they don't because of what they've been told all their li…

So, I don't spend much time here, so it's all new to me. But I tend to agree with the OP. If it's all so boring to you why are you wasting your time?

You've hit the nail on the head regarding the paradox of feminism. The simplest explanation is that feminists aren't the ones getting it from the high-status masculine men. So they're bitter and resentful. I know that's overly sterotyping, but I believe it more often than not tends to be true.

You're dating the wrong men.

Yep. Is that hard for you to see?

I mean that I won't be a financial or emotional liability in a relationship. And that I have disposable income to put towards said relationship. I believe in courtship and doing that correctly requires money. All that said, I think every woman should be able to support themselves. They should never rely on somebody else to support them.

A sense of humor, confident, smart, emotional intelligence, good looking, a six figure salary and financial stability. Also sort of a dog whisperer, ha ha. Which, believe it or not, translates well into relationships with people too.

I see. In real life you're stoic, but in the presence of internet idiots you get emotional . . . in a mean way. Thanks for clearing that up.

For someone who's happy go lucky, stoic, cool, calm etc. you sound awfully combative at the first sign that someone might disagree with you. Clearly somebody (/u/Butt-Factory) thinks that there's something to be said for a man who isn't always stoic.

Nope. There's a high likelihood that something's not right there. Never sleep with a woman who has more problems than you do.

believe me, these guys get nowhere, they just become obsessed with the chase and the need to conquer so I have fun toying with them for awhile. They either give up in a fit of exasperation or I move on. Yes, I can see this happening . . . ;-)

Do you really think it's surprising? Regardless, it does explain a lot. And yes, having great insight would be both a blessing and a curse. Virtues = vulnerabilities. Hell, you probably know what I'm thinking and you can't even see my eyes. ;-)

That you can even write this pretty much makes the point that /r/abicus4343 was making. Did you ever, even for one second, stop to think that maybe it is a big deal for women? Geezus.

I'm not arguing anything. I think your description of high value women is spot on. But what gives anything value is its scarcity. So by definition, to be high value, this type of woman must be fairly rare. That certainly fits with my experience. I don't think it's a learned trait rather I suspect it's something you are born with. But good for you in trying to give young women something to strive for. Lord knows they need it.

Honestly, I don't think a woman can use a formula to act as you describe. I'd know right away if a girl was pretending to be a high value woman just like you'd know right away if a guy was pretending to be masculine. You either have it or you don't. I suppose that's why high value people are such -- they're fairly rare.

You sell short "high value men" by suggesting they just want a woman that laughs at their jokes. I can make a lot of woman laugh at my jokes, but I'm attracted to those who can make me laugh. We're probably saying the same thing regarding connection. That's the "win" I was suggesting. Playing hard to get is sexy, but you have to let someone get close enough to make a connection. Re-reading what you wrote, that's what you said, so it's all good. I'd chase you. ;-)

"Never eat at a place called Mom's. Never play cards with a man named Doc. And never sleep with a woman who's got more problems than you." -- Nelson Algren in "What Every Young Man Should Know" Written around 1960, but still good advice for young men today.

This is a great post. I'd add confidence (maybe that's implied) and a sense of humor. And if you're going to play games, make sure there's a way for the guy (and, ultimately you) to "win".

I agree. This whole notion of "game" which objectifies women is not the right approach for a young man trying to figure out a way forward with women -- as witnessed by the OP's lack of success. That's not to say it won't work on some women, but more often than not it will be with women who have emotional issues of some sort -- which just makes it that much sadder. OP needs to realize that women are actual people who can be fun to engage with beyond just sex. Further, their sexual needs and desir…

My god, this is a bizarre discussion. Here's the bottom line "men" aren't blue pill or red pill. They're men. They are honest, respectful, confident and interested in women who are the same. You young guys are making this way too hard. It's not a fucking game.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
