I saw one post where a grandpa was trying to find his grand-daughter (30s) a husband because she made poor choices and a Muslim gentleman in the comments mentioned that this is common in their country because the men and family will want what's best and most secure for their children. Additionally, the douches will be weeded out really quick because they have to convince the entire family and not just fool one girl. Made me think that tradition and history might be worth taking note of.
