I feel this. Haven’t been able to bring myself to take the decorations and tree down since everyone cleared out.

Fucking this right here. THIS is the energy I’m carrying into 2025. My STBX have been together since we were teens, now in our mid-50s. Turns out I also don’t like the guy I was in that relationship. All my personal growth has and is leading me farther away from him, and her. I am actively letting go of those things which no longer serve me. She is one of those things. Sad but necessary. P.S. “Off its fucking head” is now my favorite phrase. Cheers!

Now, after nearly 30 years of marriage, we have grown and evolved to become people whose needs and wants are at odds. Neither is more right or wrong, our goals are simply not compatible. If you truly love someone, you want wh…

That was me last year. Our youngest had just gone to college and STBX was on one of her many solo vacations. I don’t usually make a big deal of it, but it was definitely a weird feeling to be fully alone and uncelebrated. Hang in there, brother. 42 is the meaning of life - gonna be a good year for you!

Amicable & uncontested, just beginning the process

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
