Basically, be a different person. You have to make intentional changes in how you engage and react to things. It sucks, it's going to be uncomfortable, but you have to unlearn a lot of what you learned since it's not helping you do what needs to be done.

People go through generally accepted phases in life and think its weird when people in different life phases date. They're supposed to be having significantly different life experiences because of differing life situations, levels of maturity, or some such shit. The problem is life phases are closer together at younger ages.

Take a salsa dancing class. You immediately become 5x more attractive for knowing how to lead, you get to look like an idiot around other people that are looking like idiots, and conversational is pretty much guaranteed. Nothing like cold approaching someone waiting on the side of the dance floor for someone to dance with them and impressing them/ not looking like an idiot. Don't have salsa dancing? Find another style of dancing.

Nah, I'm fine just in a revelatory mood. And I'd think I was just self conscious too if I hadn't just looked up like 10 different definitions of introversion, introversion tests, etc and pretty much gone down the list and checked them all for every page. Well the final say comes to you anyways. You're not going to be able to get better unless you make the decision to help yourself and dedicate yourself to it. And while I know it can sound like a bunch of motivational BS sometimes, its coming from people who have been or are where you are now. It helps to work towards a goal with others sometimes.
