At most you've got 5 seconds. Minus the time it took to get to you, or in this case the time it took him to go "fuck, that was a tripwire. Where's the grenade? There it is", form a plan in his head and execute that plan. So really, no time at all. Taking into account his using the rucksack and fucking his legs, this was something drilled into him in training. Dont think, just do. There's a certain amount of luck involved. Lets say he looked left first, saw it and jumped on it, all good, no one d…

Very close to getting a Victoria Cross (UKs highest award for the services) for it too. Ended up with a George Cross, as there wasn't any enemy around at the time.

200K can be mining money, it's not all executive jobs that make decent money here. 200k in Sydney sometimes isn't that much. If whoever picks her has bought property in the last few years, he'll be mortgaged to the hilt. Hell of a bubble there.

It's a sparkling generalism. Sounds nice, but really means nothing.

Sometimes they make sense. A wedding in Bali is a lot cheaper to get to than a wedding in the far north of Australia. Plus, Bali holiday while you're there.

Most professional male sports leagues don't ban women, there simply isn't women good enough to make the teams.

USA. Land of the free where people will murder you at a phone swap and not even take the phone

Same thing happened with opening company jobs for women in the army here. Except instead of lowering the benchmark, they made fitness tests in basic training not matter, so the onus is on the receiving battalion to get them to pass. Result: a bunch of injured chicks.

Look at how much people are paying for 90's Skylines. They're nothing special but people will throw insane amounts of money to have one. The 2000's will have cars that get cult status too.

She can name a few exotic brands. My car enthusiast friends could tell you nothing about modern cars. But one could tell you everything you could ever want to know about the XA Falcon

It's doable. I inherited enough cash for a house at 28

Looking to buy their "next" house, implying they already have one. His career goals can't be too relaxed if that's the case.

Here's why A man has gone through hell and back after a woman falsely accused him of indecent assault in Sydney. Kenan Basic pulled over to help a 19-year-old woman near Bankstown after he saw she was struggling with some car troubles. The married father spent two hours with the teenage woman, helping her get her car back up and running. After all the repairs were done, he followed her with his car for a short while to ensure she didn't break down again but once she seemed fine he took off. Whil…

Broadcasting rights. TV networks in Australia own the rights to alot of shows on US Netflix, so VPNs were blocked here. Gotta keep the shitty normal TV going

Go stand behind a howitzer being fired and you'll find out.

If she managed to fire it, you don't want to be behind it. Under the barrel is still bad, but behind it is worse.

Depends on the country. In mine: 60k a year after training, majority never deployed, military home loan scheme.

Money in, money out. Men's would cups make billions. Women's make 200 million if they're lucky. The women actually get a higher % of the money they bring in.

100% did not happen. Teller would be out of the job so fast her head would spin.

It's still happening here to some extent. I know a couple in their mid 20's who "own" three houses. One to live in and two investments. They're military so make ~$140k between them, but are about $1.4 mil in the hole. If one goes unrented for months, interest rates rise, or one of them gets injured and ends up with anything less than a 100% pension they're fucked.

Flippers. Not anymore where I am, but a decade ago you could make stupid money with a coat of paint and some new trims. People were desperate to get into the housing market. Now we have people with a few hundred K negative equity because they paid $900k for a 1 bedroom apartment.
