Listen as closely as possible to what they say. When you think about what they are saying versus what you should say next it will allow you to fluently jump from topic to topic. It keeps them much more engaged in the conversation, because they can tell that you’re interested in what they have to say.

This post may seem cliché, but this has very much been my experience these past two months. Being single for the first time in my 20s at 25 was a learning curve. I too used to struggle with rejection. A large part of dealing with it is learning how to not take things personally. Just like you may not be attracted to certain girls, they are the same.
