This is the right advice. Very zen.

Okay what happened? Did she approach, flirt, or fuck a guy in front of you? Did she give someone her phone number? Again, without more details your assumptions sound like paranoia. I’m all for guilty until proven innocent when it comes to vetting a woman for a relationship but you should judge based on actions and not glances. It’s also possible that she was sending out signals to make you jealous which is red flag but not an indication of cheating. A lot of guys don’t expect their woman to chea…

He’s asking if people believe the majority of women prefer one body type over another. That’s it. No need to go all Sigmund Freud on the guy.

She’s obviously blowing her bosses who all prefer short hair. They probably don’t even have to pay her anymore because she loves it so much.

Attending a festival is not a red flag by itself. She either went with friends or with an ex, or both. She may have gone for clout or gone for cock, or both. That being said, Burning Man is not for beginners.

The girls who brag about their gangbang mistakenly believe it makes them more attractive because they like guys who are believed to be sexually experienced. They selfishly connect their favorite characteristics about men to their own SMV.

I dated a girl who constantly sought external validation. She had a lot of guy friends and could not maintain long term relationships with girls, or even her sisters at times. She made a big deal about getting a degree but still hasn’t finished years later. Instead she works in hospitality for the attention. I obviously understand this stuff in retrospect but at the time I thought she was just a little immature. Years later, she is the same, if not more unstable, based on her Twitter account whi…

She didn’t ghost you. She was actually polite to cut it off. You should only talk to a woman for months if you can control your attachment and focus on everything else besides her. Pen pals rarely turn into fuck pals.

Happens to all of us in some ways. Go no contact. Try not to be bitter because, later on, you may regret the time you spent being bitter. This applies even if you broke up with her. Let her go and be prepared for her to rebound faster than you. It happens. Fortunately, your SMV will only increase as you get into your 30’s if you’re on a decent path.

That’s plenty dude. Your only competition is yourself.

Do you mean a physical date with a girl from a dating app?

If you’re really skinny, you can probably gain 10 pounds in a month if you eat to excess. Make it a new hobby.

If it’s the best option for you, don’t let the negative opinions sway you. You’ll experience the pros & cons first hand.

Why can’t you let go? You’re in college and you should be so distracted by your mission and new women, it should be easy. Your ex has definitely moved on for sure. If you really have your shit together, then it should be easy for you as well. But apparently it’s not easy, so something is up.

Do you have a crush on this guy or something?

This girl is on vacation and wants to have fun and not start dating a guy that’s two decades older. Whether this guy has other shit to do or not is irrelevant because he communicated that he doesn’t and he was needy. A woman knows she could sleep with a different guy every night of the week and they want to fuck guys that could sleep with a different girl every night of the week if they wanted to. This is all communicated covertly by how a guy prioritizes his time.

Good luck. It sounds like right now your mission is to convince internet strangers of who knows what. The people here don’t care what your mission is—they are just recommending that you have one. C’mon, trying to hang with a hookup two nights in row? Lesson learned.

I wouldn’t ever voluntarily suggest a trip to see a girl’s family, unless it somehow coincided with an event or destination that I wanted to visit separately. It sounds like you’re not really leading her but I don’t think she’s specifically disrespecting you. If you recently did this same trip, maybe it’s too soon to repeat the trip. Kind of like re-watching a movie. Then again, you don’t want to get caught in suggesting other trip ideas for her benefit.

“I don’t see you that way either, but I might after a few drinks.” Need to keep it light. You really shouldn’t care what she thinks but she is a classmate.

This “simple” girl is very likely more sexual and emotionally advanced than you. It’s just survival skills. Stop communicating your feelings...don’t say “you’re wasting my time.” You’re wasting your own time. It’s ok to ask advice here but there should never be “this one girl.” I’ve been there before and many of us have. If you’re here for a wake up call, hopefully this is it but your current issue extends beyond this one girl.

If you’re asking what it means when a girl wants to sleep over without asking, that is a different question. Maybe she wants to be your girlfriend. Maybe she’s homeless. Maybe it’s her own way of feeling less promiscuous. If you do what feels right to you, you’ll either be satisfied or fuck up enough times to find your desired outcome.

It’s only weird that you’re asking the Internet if you’re weird. You’re not special because you don’t want to sleep or spend 8-12 hours with a random plate. If you don’t want a girl to sleep over, grow some boundaries and tell her to leave.

Make a list of things in your life that are important and then focus on those. Things that benefit your mental/physical strength should be most important (gym, family, friends, hobbies) Your feelings and girls should be last.

If she has a kid and she lets a stranger over for a movie, then she is a terrible parent and definitely avoid her. If she can manage her schedule and find time for a date, take her for a drink because she probably loves alcohol. If she’s not responsible for the kid that night, it’s a layup. Treat this one as playing on easy mode and if it doesn’t come together naturally, do not invest any more time. If you have any SMV, she should thrilled by the adventure you offer if you let her escape motherh…

Right or wrong, you’re being willfully manipulated...essentially because she cooks for you and does nice things. And you admit that you enjoy her being clingy. Based on your post and comments, you have a massive ego and she knows how to stroke it. It’s all so new and so transactional, I’m not sure how it can be marriage material, at least not yet.
/r/askTRP06/01/20 05:16 PM

Wait so it takes 1-2 years to vet out loyalty but you’re considering your teenage gf of 6 months as marriage material? Don’t lecture everyone else on the game because some people operate more honestly.

Big difference between covertly communicating or implying you’re dating multiple women and lying about it. Who cares if a couple plates break if you’re good doing your own thing?

To be really cynical, the guy may have known OP would be out of town and was angling for alone time.

A travel ban is insecure. He said it himself that his boundary is no traveling separate from each other.

No option is better than tolerating disrespect. Stringing together half-assed LTR’s is not alpha. Neither is searching for girls. Learning to be by yourself is alpha.
/r/askTRP01/05/19 02:45 PM
1

I would not text her. No need to do anything drastic but I would operate under the assumption that the relationship is over. The communication is odd for an LTR. No need to talk everyday but when you do, it shouldn’t take 24hrs to respond—it seems like you’re both trying to dread each other OR don’t care about each other.
/r/askTRP01/05/19 12:56 PM

A girl unworthy of an LTR does not promote social status. Also doesn’t sound like companionship is there either. At the end of the day, you can only really rely on yourself and maybe close friends and family.
/r/askTRP01/05/19 12:46 PM

Where there is smoke, there is fire. But you likely won’t be able to learn what caused it. That being said, what was the text? If it wasn’t a question or something that would provoke a response, she might not have anything to say. You say you’re not a priority for her. What does she prioritize? Positive stuff like career, school, etc or negatives like validation seeking?

It’s a highlight reel of my life, travels, good times with friends. I run into people who say “you’ve been traveling a lot” or “you go to so many concerts.” If commemorating the good times on social media helps a girl get a feel for me without any effort on my part, it’s great. If I’m making a post to attract a certain girl, I’m fucking up. They know I’m doing fun shit with or without them, so they can choose to be a part of it or not. That being said, I don’t add new girls on social media until…
