No they don't. Admins have banned people temporarily for downvoting threads. The reality is that early in the morning before a thread gets noticed, it'll skate by with easy upvotes for stupid shit from bored teenagers. Later in the day as the grownups get home from work, the votes will get far more controversial. The real downvote brigade is called "the normal people."

Then again, white men make more money than black men so technically they pay more into social security than every other group. Also, spouses receive the benefits of their partners if married more than 10 years, so when a black beneficiary dies it's not like the money vanishes. If put forward as the article does, then things are leery-making. But if put honestly instead, then not as controversial. Social Security's still a reasonable investment. It wasn't until college when I realized women really like sex, especially with men who like sex and are passable to the task. Completely changed my perspective on male-female interaction. Still, I can't avoid the nagging feeling that I'm burdening women by showing them sexual attention and tend to feel things out a lot before stepping up.
