I hear you! I've had similar experiences, and believe I was born in the wrong era too. Maybe you should take the initiative to start your own group or something then? Best of luck!

Don't make too much out of it. Just be yourself. I think people today make too much out of proposals, weddings, etc... Just relax. Do your hair, dress nice, be clean, but be yourself and just go along with things. And, yes, it IS a non-issue- just calm down! :) And I personally don't think long engagements are all that they're cracked up to be either. But that's neither here nor there as for your question.

I don't know about texting/calling, but are you active on any other social media sites? There are a lot of blogs, Facebook pages, etc.. where you can visit. They aren't Red Pill specifically though, but there are lots of women like yourself. You are not alone. Don't go out of your mind! Just focus on your child and husband, let them be all that you need. I know that it's tough. Being at home all of my married life (almost all of my life) there just aren't women at home to support each other. But…

In the short-term this might seem like a good strategy, but it doesn't really solve the larger cultural problems in the long term. Don't give up on the younger guys your age. I mean, if it works out that the guy is older, there's nothing wrong with that. But age alone doesn't mean a man will grow up. From what I've seen, older men are not much better than younger men. In fact, some are arguably worse. Also, many have already been in relationships, had kids, and thus will have less resources to p…

Wow, I love how those votes turned out up above. Just stay home and let everything work itself out. Sometimes you will find that finances and credit waver some- you'll have good financial times and sometimes periods of rough finance- but just let your husband do what needs to be done to provide his family with the best he can, and make decisions accordingly.

This sounds great, but hardly credible. As far as the values are concerned, one does not have to be a Christian to believe in any of these things. Also, out in the real world (which those who have swallowed the red pill rarely live in), I just don't see such things being promoted within the community. It's just another political group built on the idea that men are victims, and frequented by those wishing to learn "game" and spout out a bunch or ridiculous acronyms about female nature.

I think looks are important to everyone, but, honestly, I don't care so much personally. The scenarios here have one major problem though in that the female is playing the traditional male role of trying to intrigue a man with her hobbies and interests/achievements, and being the one to work up the courage to do the pursuing. Yes, it can be tough when men are expected to do the pursuing, but that's part of being a man- getting out there, being brave, and expecting to get knocked down a few times…

I think that, for a woman at least, and from a woman's perspective, that casual sex can be damaging. I'm only so glad that my first real taste of sex, or of orgasm and sexual pleasure happened when I was with my husband, because, for me, it was powerful enough to change my entire life. It's not good for men to be promiscuous either, but I don't think it's as serious or the same as when women do it. Female sexuality is different, and yes, more valuable and important. It's an entirely different th…

Ignore these men. If a man falls in love, he'll stick around, regardless of the sex. On the other hand, if he doesn't love her he won't stick around, again, regardless of the sex. It's not a "dating offense" for a woman to say no to a man- in ANY capacity. I dated my husband for months on end, no sex, yet that is exactly what made him fall in love. It made him want me more. Obviously, he eventually got the sex, got a wife and family and now nearly 20-year long marriage out of the deal. Don't let…

Yes, the cultural changes and feminism, alternative relationships, sexualities, interchangeability of men and women and their roles, etc... Men encouraged to act like women, and vice versa... The decline of marriage in favor of cohabitation or staying single, etc.. For men who expect this, I would say one word: "Pfff..." Nice try.

I agree. Unless a very personal connection attaches, accompanied with severe emotional manipulation, most young women don't want older men. Even if they do, how long can a man keep up the game? Youth is important for both sexes. Yes, society (and men) place more emphasis on women's looks that men's, but men don't get more attractive after their 20s-mid 30s- nor do they get more fertile. Many men start having issues, too, such as erectile dysfunction and even fertility problems when they start ge…

Well, maybe he is not right for you. But, on the flipside, that is something you will have to use your intuition on in order to feel him out. A woman shouldn't have to convince a man to be the provider. A man who loves should want to do so naturally. Don't buy into the myth that a man has to be rich to provide the necessities for his wife, or that he "must" have her income. Especially in a society with easy availability of credit a man can work on developing himself in order to ensure he can pro…

Women need more information about a man, generally, than just looks. Most men can go "she's hot!" and be down for it. For women, we care about looks but we want to know a bit more.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 02:40 PM

What is your debate? If 4/5 times women want to be friends and are not developing feelings, then that would clearly demonstrate that women are being more cautious before letting feelings develop. Men tend to get strongly attached emotionally or "hooked" on a girl, but women have a lot more to lose and a lot more to risk when it comes to getting romantically involved or even "hooking up."

Don't worry or fret too much about coming off as "insecure." It's OK to let some vulnerability show through. In fact, it could be beneficial. I wouldn't worry too much about who he stays in contact with. Just let him do his thing and don't worry overmuch about his business. In the end, he'll have to decide what's important to him. Who cares if he doesn't follow who you follow on social media sites and the like. I don't think personally that this is a very important thing to worry about. Tell him…

You're only 31. Women in the past did not always marry as young as is often said. You haven't missed anything, though I do think that things get harder as you get older. The biggest reason is because most everyone you start meeting will be set in their ways, burned too many times, already have kids or a couple of failed relationships and marriages under their belt, etc... But, you are certainly not too old for anything. You've still got plenty of fertile years left and there are plenty of men ou…

Yes and no. Fights, throwing things, saying a few mean words- it is to be expected, especially in marriage. But, outright insulting and being derogatory is not a good thing. If that is normal, something is wrong or there is some kind of miscommunication or abuse going on somewhere.

Your writing is very beautiful and speaks volumes. That's kind of the same way that I feel inside. It's good to see a lot more women stepping out and actually speaking up like this. The world needs to hear it, and men need to hear it so that they actually know how we think and feel. As well, someone needs to counter the feminist voices that predominate to the detriment of all traditional women.

A lot of things have changed in the last five years. Certain ideological viewpoints have not held up to reality or withstood the test of time. Woman hate is extreme today. I think a lot of women are tired of it.

This "betabux" stuff has got to go. If a man provides, he makes the decisions, period. I wish men would stop ditching their own women and instead work on changing things internally in their own home countries for the better. There's nothing wrong with dating abroad- if that's what one is into- but, seriously, there are plenty of good homegrown women just waiting for the right guy to take the initiative. But, I repeat, if a man provides, he decides. What's more "alpha" than that? There's a reason…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 06:41 PM

Men who ask "why don't women make the first move" don't deserve any kind of superior or "alpha" status in the first place. Most women find such men lazy and unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 06:39 PM

Not all women deny such a thing. This topic has a lot of exaggerations in it. And, of course, not every woman puts up with such behavior regardless of whether the guy is "hot" or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 06:37 PM
11

And do men not put up with the equivalent when it comes to hot/vs "average" women? Of course, all of this is subjective. It all depends on how one feels about the individual in the first place. Yes, women probably do put up with more whenever it comes to "hot" men, but men routinely put up with more crap when it comes to "hot" women as well.

I never did. I find all that stuff silly, but I do understand that people have a need to group together with a common ideology. It's helpful and it also helps to promote social change. Personally though, I observe from a distance, but remain ideologically and politically independent. I can think for myself without the need for creeds nor mantras. I never really belong anywhere anyway. I just somewhat exist with my own mindset and worldview.

Right, sometimes it takes a bit for a man to really get going in his career. His woman should follow him knowing that he'll take care of them and that he is going to provide, rich or poor, good times or bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 02:55 PM
2

It depends on the woman. If she herself is a high-earning career woman she might expect more. However, for feminine women I would say it is OK as 1) she won't be out-earning or out competing you anyway, and 2) she'll follow you knowing that you are driven and that you will take care of her regardless of your resources now or in the future.

It's hard to explain. But I really think that waiting would be best. I never knew love before one night with my husband when that reality opened up to me. I can't explain how that changed everything. I'm sorry I can't be of more help or explain it better right now. I'm trying to work on some writings for the future, but it just takes time. I just wish more women would understand to wait and be careful. Sex is a powerful thing, especially for women.

Red-pillers vastly exaggerate everything when it comes to female nature. However, please don't be promiscuous- with women or men. You really don't want to awaken that sexuality and spread yourself around like that. Please don't do it. Focusing on finding the one who you will spend your life with. Wait and be patient. It'll be better than you could ever imagine if you do.

This is interesting. I'm not a man, but I do agree that the redpill and other forums out there dominated by mostly men- men mostly trying to navigate women, exist for a reason. Like it or not, it's just nature's way that men have got to impress women or gain some kind of superiority or leverage somehow. It works that way in the animal kingdom too- only they don't complain about it as "sexism." It's just nature.

There's someone out there for everyone. As a general rule, however, both men and women do invest a lot- often in very sex-specific ways- in improving themselves. There's no need to be perfect but it doesn't necessarily help one's chances to completely let themselves go either.

Facial hair can definitely be overdone, but when done just right (not too much and not too little), it can be very attractive. I like it when my husband lets his grow out some where it's thick and full somewhat but not too terribly long.

This is ridiculous. HOW are these women having orgasms anyway? "Oppressed" woman here, no problem having an orgasm just from penetration. We have many socialist tenets in this society yet women are frustrated, apparently, when it comes to orgasm. The more submissive and dependent I am upon my husband, the deeper I feel it throughout my being. I knew nothing of what an orgasm was the first time that I had one. I'm also sick of hearing about childcare and the like.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 08:05 PM

That would be a 21st century phenomenon. And the clitoris isn't strictly necessary for orgasm. And religions- including the Bible- believe sex should be enjoyed between husband and wife. That is not suppression.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 05:56 PM

I do think so, yes, but it's unlikely to be something left in women's diaries. I know at least research articles from the 60s women were able to orgasm vaginally at a 50% rate, which is significantly higher than what researchers are finding today. I'm sure one could dig even deeper on the subject. That's just some research, can't encompass everything, of course. And I think I can speak well enough from experience being a traditional woman who hadn't experienced any sex before my husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 05:49 PM

Well, most men like women who pay attention to the details, and, no, a woman expecting a man to pay for a date is not narcissism. This is simply the woman being feminine and letting the man lead, just the same as a woman expecting a man to provide in marriage is not bad, she's just expecting him to be a man in either situation. I don't want to say this about women who are truly looking to just exploit a man- as these women do exist. Men should certainly stay away from women like that.

Your post is a bit difficult to understand. However, I think masculinity entails those stereotypical traits that we tend to think of: physical and mental/emotional strength, stoicism, leadership, ability to protect, provide, typical physical masculine characteristics denoted the "secondary" sex characteristics. Add to this though a sense of morality and honor.

Yeah, when they can't denigrate you they say that you "must be lucky." I've heard it all before too. My husband was never rich. We were dirt poor trailer trash the first decade of our marriage, yet I never worked. We'd probably never even be together if I had.

You don't have to say anything. And try to let your husband (soon to be husband) shield you from this too. You answer to him and nobody else. I've been married 16 years and have never held paid employment, even in the worst of times. Who cares what they say. Underneath my husband I forget all about them anyway. People would find a way to judge you and question your life even if you worked 5 jobs. You are NOT alone. It's only that us traditional women do not a voice in society because nobody want…

No, but the question is, are you a masculine man? Feminine women need to be taken care of or else they are not feminine anymore. So, if a man wants a feminine woman, is he prepared to protect and provide for her and understand that he'll have to wait on sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 05:19 PM

But can we really know how many orgasms our female ancestors were having? Suppression in the social realm and guarding of female sexuality doesn't necessarily translate into not enjoy sex deeply and fully with one's husband.

I somewhat beg to differ. Good intense deep-in-your soul love and sex is quite magical. There's no room for communication with that kind of passion. Just whole-scale primitive animal instinct. Being told that sex is all about "communication" is probably why so many women have difficulty achieving orgasm.

I think it matters a great deal. We have been socialized to believe otherwise but it is just simply contrary to nature. But young women don't know this. How could they? They were taught that "double standards" are terrible and "sexist." But of course it hurts women because women feel pleasure differently than men. Our world is much different than a male's. It's damaging on multiple levels. I also think that the older generations have to start teaching young women to be cautious and guard their s…

I think most people are going to hate anyway. Everyone just wants to get into everyone else's business. Do you want to really be single? You just need a woman who is willing to drop her own career and follow you. You are busy improving yourself, as a man should. In the past, men were preparing to build their lives to provide for a woman who would follow. It's hard to find that now, but it's still the best way. I don't think anyone really wants to be alone forever. In the past, it would have been…

A feminine woman should not want gender-neutrality. Call it what it is. Boyfriend, girlfriend. Then, when it's a done deal, husband, wife. No gender neutrality there, just masculine and feminine, woman and man.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 12:19 AM

I tend to agree. Marriage has been so degraded in our society today. It's no longer husband and wife, but "partner" or "intimate partner."
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 12:18 AM

Yes, I love my husband's dominance, but there is a flip-side to this where a woman needs to KNOW that the man is trustworthy, that he's her provider and protector, that he's there and all hers. A so-called "alpha male" that is nothing more than a womanizer is not attractive to any woman with morals and self-respect. There is a trade-off. He's the strong take-charge "alpha male" yet it's just genuine masculinity, and he's all HERS- he's not some fake player type.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 12:16 AM

I do not think that most modern women understand any differently. As a woman, I have never been able to orgasm OTHER than vaginally. I do not understand the clitoral orgasm, I just can't see it. But, yes, as for women, they need to understand that our sexuality is different. There's no real way- apart from avoiding penetrative intercourse- to get rid of male dominance in the sex act. I was able to orgasm for the first time with my husband when I was 19, because I was able to fully relax both bod…

Well, I was picky whenever I was a teenager. I did not find most guys attractive either. What made me notice my husband was his independence (he always led and paid for everything), his stoicism, and the fact, of course, that I was so young and he charmed me- and he was a bit older than me. But, he was just stereo-typically masculine. I guess I was right about him though, as we've been together now nearly 2 decades and he's always led and provided. Being fake is no good. Most women can tell when a man is being fake or just being a jerk thinking he has "game," or lacks true ability and confidence. I am not sure how masculinity being associated with strength and authenticity is a negative thing for traditionally feminine women. Feminine women would rather be perceived as weaker, less capable, etc... That's part of traditional femininity- needing the man to protect and provide. However, I think "authenticity" applies equally well to tradition…
