Others are playing down the women-in-tech issue. Onstage at a recent event, the venture capitalist Vinod Khosla said harassment in Silicon Valley was "rarer than in most other businesses." Vinod Khosla is an out of touch, greedy old cunt who tried to ban the public from accessing a public beach because it's too close to his mansion: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/aug/10/martins-beach-california-public-vinod-khosla

Discussion of labor issues is specifically protected in California. Google could be in deep shit for firing this guy since they clearly stated his "manifesto" was the reason. Or he could be getting an easy cash settlement when they realize how badly they fucked up.

I don't like GLO, but he's right on this one. See this thread filled with stories about people being injured by squats, many of whom are resident "experts" on the fitness sub. Or this post that explains why squats are a bad suggestion for the average lifter. SS is based on 3 of the most dangerous lifts any amateur will do (obviously olympic lifts like Snatch or Clean & Jerk are more dangerous). There is literally no reason to recommend those lifts to beginners when many safer lifts offer almost …

They're the best. You don't even need to kick them out because they already know the drill. By the time they hit 25-ish, they're probably at the stage where they try to sit around "getting to know each other" first, then they want to cuddle and sleep over afterwards.

What's redpill about this? You put way too much effort + money into dates, and in return you get less whining + typical feminine behavior? I cringe at the thought that someone might strive for such an average relationship. Good dread game will get you far more for far less.

It's flirting if I like you, sexual harassment if I don't. That's what makes these "harassment is in the eye of the beholder" laws so dangerous. One of the core principles of due process is that a reasonable person should be able to know whether their conduct is legal under the law. In this case, any woman can decide that your conduct is illegal on a whim. How do we protect against arbitrary and capricious application of the law when the only context in which it applies is arbitrary and capricio…

Also fuck eating. How people put away 3-4K calories a day down blows my fucking mind. I'm a twig and even eating over 2-2.5 requires forcing food a lot. I find it much easier to drink food. For example, throw this in a blender: Milk Banana Peanut Butter Rolled Oats (might want to blend these a little first) Chocolate Whey Plenty of calories with good macros. Went from 160-200 using that and homemade protein bars with essentially the same ingredients. Also, lots of Chipotle.

in an LTR females have absolute social and personal power. I don't agree. In any relationship, the person who cares less has all the power. That's why Patrice O'Neal always said something like "The perfect relationship is one where the woman loves the man, but the man only likes her."

Monthly reminder: Women will intentionally destroy a relationship just so they feel less guilty about cheating. Exhibit A: I saw, from experience, the damage that a hidden desire for someone else could do. In those cases, I’d become so obsessed with the temptation, and the fact that I couldn’t act on it, that I’d start to pick fights, and resent things that never bothered me, so I could justify my own inevitable terrible behavior (cheating). Even with pictures he could be full of shit. You can take steroids and then sit on your ass for 10 weeks and still gain more muscle than a natural lifter. This is why I only trust a few sources for workout advice: Layne Norton, Scott Herman (the Natty Goober), and old-school bodybuilders who most likely had no access to steroids (Steve Reeves, Reg Park, John Grimek, etc.).

Emma Watson is also the one who claimed to eschew gender norms while dating Chad the alpha rugby player. Me: Hey Emma, what's your favorite type of cake? Emma: Vanilla! Me: Then why is your refrigerator filled with chocolate cake? Emma: Oh... uh... I mean other people should like vanilla cake because then the world would be a better place. It can be, but that's not necessarily a bad thing because it discourages lazy people who are just looking for easy money. And there are ways to mitigate the risk. For example: Negotiate a large sample order, inspect/package everything yourself, then increase your order sizes if everything looks good. Plenty of people have their supplier individually package + ship the goods direct to Amazon (or use an intermediary packager), but that's only possible once you're 100% confident in their quality. A…

So in essence all advice is useless? In essence, the useful advice has already been given. Anything more is only a distraction to avoid the next step: hard work. If you're not already doing it, no amount of advice will convince you that you're ready to start. All the info you need is already out there, the hard part is finding a niche and executing (getting a supplier, negotiating, arranging shipping/packaging, etc.). Neither of those things can be taught. Think of it like running a small business from your home -- the only way to learn is by trying (and most likely failing a few times). And if someone were good enough that they could teach those things, they'd either be selling courses or keeping their mouth shut to avoid creating more competitors.

It's sad how much effort he put into creating such a worthless post. All he did was list a bunch of well-known, high-paying jobs, many of which have impossibly high barriers to entry. Sell a fashion brand or fracking company? Are you fucking joking? He probably doesn't even know about all the new shit like retail arbitrage or private label sales via FBA. Boy, oh boy. The "Always" and "Never" statements are powerful indicators something is afoot. In my experience, those, along with the rewriting history are the signals that it's pretty much over and you're in dangerous territory. Yup, women will stir up drama and intentionally make themselves miserable so they don't feel guilty about cheating. There was another match like this in 2003. Yannick Noah (who peaked at #3 in 1986 and retired in 1996 at rank 500+) played the reigning women's singles champion, Justine Henin. He wore a dress and spent the whole match trying to pull off crazy trick shots but still won in the end. If he had a rank at the time of that match, it would've been well into the thousands. She was #1.

Doesn't help that every guy over 5'9" claims he's 6' tall. People have seriously skewed perceptions of what 6' looks like because so many people inflate their height. When I tell people I'm 6'2" they never believe me even though that's rounded up. Most people guess I'm 6'5".

Secondly, why stop at 5? Say I’m squatting 225. I'm on my fifth set and I hit five, I have more gas in the tank so what do I do? I re-rack the weight. Why? Well because 5x5 that’s why. That's not how it works. If you feel like you could still do a few more reps, you either chose your weight poorly or you're just having a good day and should keep going. Misery loves company. Even your friends will resent you when they see you making positive changes while they're still struggling to do the same. It's a defensive reflex. The problem with these suggestions is that people are so fucking poor these days. All my 30-ish friends are still paying off student loans and living with roommates in shitty apartments to cut down on bills. If you ask them to do anything other than stay in and drink, the answer is "Sorry, I'm too poor". Read Practical Recommendations: If you’re above 15% body fat (about 24-27% for women), diet first. If you can get to the 10-12% (19-24%) body fat range or so, I think you’ll be in an overall better position to gain mass. Trying to get super lean will probably end up screwing you in the long run because your body will be primed to put back fat on (and most other physiological systems are screwed up as well) when you get super lean. After finishing your diet, regardless of how lean you get, take 2…

Why hasn't anyone started a service where you pay to have some really hot, suave dude try to pick up your girlfriend / wife and record his attempt if he's successful? I'd pay at least as much as an escort is worth for that.

Why the fuck does it not dawn on anyone that this is an outmoded and unfair custom requiring a man to transfer wealth to a woman in exchange for... what? Woman gets $5,000 ring (average engagement ring price) Woman gets $26,000 party she's always dreamed of (average wedding price) Man gets his balls chopped off Sounds like a fair deal.

Later in the article there's this: Francis said there were many families in "irregular situations" and the question should be how to best help them, and "how to accompany them so that the child does not become daddy or mummy's hostage".
