A bit more complicated than that. Biological parents weren’t ready to parent. Adopted by my grandmother and aunt (whom I now call mom). For first half of my childhood. (4-10). Eventually I moved back in with my bio dad and his wife (whom I also call mom) for the second half of my childhood (11-18). Well stated. The lack of male teachers is a BIG problem. Boys and girls are fundamentally different. They process the world differently, they learn differently, they experience hardships differently, and they relate to different things. I agree with this assessment. However I notice many LWMA in this sub, and even in this very comment section, have difficulty pushing masculine ideals. I would imagine most people here are against feminism in practice, but maybe not in theory if their aim is equality and being freed from gendered expectations.
