I don't understand the issue with maternity leave? All parents deserves paid leave after their child is born. Mothers and fathers. IDK maybe mothers deserve a longer period as they're recovering from giving birth. I don't think parents need a year off, that's ridiculously long IMO. This sub is just turning into women hating post. This has nothing to do with a PPD, infact I completely agree with the post you linked. Downvote me if you'd like.

Not a single female fire fighter died on 9/11. But, that's most likely due to the fact only 2% of fire fighters are female. I don't understand, >Are there any other gender issues relevant to 9/11 More male first responders died than women, because there's more male first responders than there are women.

Are people with different fetishes criminals now? Imagine the outrage if all women who went to see Fifty Shades of Grey were forced to notify police 24 hours before having sex. Actually, imagine the outrage if a woman had to notify the police before sex at all. It's absolutely ridiculous that you can control someones sex life legally.

John O’Neill was previously cleared of rape but was subjected to an interim Sexual Risk Order (SRO) after an application by North Yorkshire Police. The judge presiding over the case had described O’Neill as a “very dangerous man” despite his acquittal. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/24-hour-sex-ban-man-john-oneill-says-police-ruined-his-life_uk_578df178e4b0885619b11cbc

John O'Neill said restrictions over his use of communications devices - another condition of his Sexual Risk Order (SRO) - had restricted his ability to work and claim benefits. He said, the SRO states he must be able to make any communications device he uses, such as computers or telephones, available to police. This prevented him for applying for jobs in which he would be required to use an office computer or telephone. TL;DR - He can't have a job where he uses a phone or computer at work. He'…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
