I don't care. More criticism is better for me.

It's fine. I realize that there are a lot of people criticizing the subreddit right now and I didn't mean to be so stupid about it. I understand completely and I can see now that it's not quite as bad as everyone says (I had been here before I heard the criticism too)

I see your point. Thank you. I hadn't thought of it that way and I appreciate that you changed your mind.

I replied in a comment earlier stating that I was wrong. My apologies.

Okay, well I'm sorry. I was wrong in stating the subreddit was bigoted and I will withdraw my argument. Do you want me to delete the post? I have no problem doing that.

Thank you.

Well we could include the problems with these policies, but I'd like to avoid attacks on the people who identify with feminism just because their movement spawned laws that hurt men.

But what I'm trying to do is create a community dedicated to discussing men's rights without bringing up feminism, at least for the most part. It's in the same vein as /r/atheism vs. /r/TrueAtheism. One is very reactionary while one is open to discussion. That's my goal. EDIT: I see your point though.

I was wrong. Sorry

Here is a thread on the front page mocking feminism (granted I see where they're coming from). Another about hating feminists. Usually a large portion of the subreddit is dedicated to deriding feminism. On the other hand this thread today is very open to people who are not typical. Honestly I cannot find evidence of bigotry. I was wrong. My apologies. I should replace "women" with "feminists". The subreddit does have an obsession with them.

I didn't say I would tightly moderate it. I just meant I would do a good job getting rid of posts meant to cause a gender-war. I see posts regularly talking about how women suck and are horrible and in general see a large amount of bigotry around this subreddit. They may just be isolated incidents, but a subreddit dedicated to the movement and not to bashing feminism would allow for reddit to take us seriously instead of going "oh no, not them."

Not if I moderate well. If it actually gets popular and I keep the posts within the confines of fair debate I think it could go well.

/r/egalitarians. Going to do my best to get it up and running.

Okay, /r/egalitarians already exists but there's nothing there. Go over there and start posting shit. We need to get this off the ground.

reasonable person mode in general both radical feminists and the kind of posts finding their way to the front page are sexist against the other gender.

Should I create a subreddit for us?

Do you agree? And I don't care. I'm about ready to unsubscribe from this putrid shithole unless these people get their acts together. I'm tired of the constant "DAE Hate feminists? Women suck, amirite guyz?" I am male. I dislike SRS more than this place, and I don't support feminism. As I said I'm an egalitarian.

ITT: Whiny little bitches who are too worried about the stupidity of RADICAL feminists to realize that they are the male equivalent. And that's coming from an egalitarian male.

I think boys are actually maturing later. I've seen 10th Graders (US) who are 5-feet tall with high voices.

This is a very misogynistic article. "She can't debate like a man." Really? This article seems to imply that women are of lower intelligence simply by virtue of being female.

It's a test that judges bias. It's really not that bad. If it takes longer to associate male with good than female with good or vice-versa, than maybe there's some bias. It's not necessarily prejudice. Just bias. We're all biased.

American here. If I'm not mistaken, a Mickey is like a roofie. Basically he's purposely deluding himself because of love. EDIT: I'm wrong.

This is also an extreme generalization.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
