I can take a joke!! However I accidentally pushed submit on my phone right after INSATIABLE. I had much more to say and obviously words to correct but didn't even end the sentence with punctuation. And didn't care to Edit.

Emotions yes. And I'd guess that's men's emotions don't really either. Behavior however isn't always guided by emotions (depends on the women :) Along with the philosophy he's just not that into you, I've been saying women are crazy and men are stupid since I was 15. So well put!! It is important in all social interactions. I once sat at a bar with about 6 people at the same table and I just watched. They're weren't listening to each other at all. You could tell they were simply waiting to say something next. It's as if people don't understand that listening is pretty important in the whole communication thing.

Maybe it's my age (32F) but I'm all about a guy being up front. I like someone to be like, "you're cool. I want to get to know you." right out of the gate. I've gone by the philosophy of he's just not that into you since I was 15. If someone acts aloof I'm going to assume that they're not interested and move on pretty quickly.

Being slightly familiar with the game I'm pretty sure a dude was slinging lines/moves from said book at me right and left a couple months ago. And as a female with above average intelligence I wasn't impressed. However Op did the right thing for sure!!
