Open Letter to My WifeShe went for shock value and took me by surprise and refused to discuss the situation with me. After all, she had already talked to her family and our children. She also refused counseling. I was exhausted from pretending that she wasn't who she pretends to be and refused any sort of accountability. To this day she is the least self aware person I know. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/08/24 05:18 AM
Open Letter to My WifeWe were very incompatible. She is avoidant and I am very open and direct and need a deep connection and honest communication. It's in her nature to find deep relationships suffocating and she is very closed about her feelings. I pursued, she withdrew, I became depressed and lonely and she became resentful that I wasn't satisfied with what she was able to give. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/08/24 05:14 AM
Open Letter to My WifeShe knows. She doesn't care. She will play the victim. Do what you have to do and be as civil as possible. I was miserable for over two decades of our 32 year marriage. I would never have let, but, she made the move and I am grateful she did. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/08/24 08:01 PM

I've been divorced for 3+ years, and still feel as lost as I did since day one. When and how did things start getting better for you all?Amen. I thought my life was over. It destroyed me financially and I lost three of my four children. The life my son and I have built is peaceful and full of happiness. I wouldn't go back under any circumstances. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/08/24 07:52 PM
I've been divorced for 3+ years, and still feel as lost as I did since day one. When and how did things start getting better for you all?Women will change more to gain the acceptance of other women than they will change to become more compatible with their husband. So sorry you are going through this but happy you have the support of your family and access to your children. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/08/24 07:48 PM
I've been divorced for 3+ years, and still feel as lost as I did since day one. When and how did things start getting better for you all?It will last as long as you allow it to. My turn around started when a friend asked me to help at a food pantry. Helping others in the company of good people got me out of my own head and started me on the path back. Giving and taking care of others will feed your soul and flood your brain with dopamine. Others will respond to the change in you in a positive way giving you another boost. Interacting with people who see good things in you will lift you up further. It worked for me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/08/24 07:45 PM
Don’t ask questionsDon't give her the opening. She decided to discard you for selfish reasons and then came up with the lies she tells herself and her friends so she doesn't feel or seem like the selfish, shallow person she actually is. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/24 06:27 AM
