Read/listen to “co-parenting with a toxic ex” by Amy Baker. Specifically focus on dealing with a loyalty conflict. The more I understood what my children were thinking, feeling, and experiencing, the more I was able to connect with them and not take it so personally. Good luck.

Stay away from being ashamed or “toxic shame”. You did what you thought was best, now you know different, so you’re better off for knowing. Read/listen to NMMNG…life changer especially after divorce.
