That's an interesting take on it. I hadn't thought about it that way.

I don't support the draft for men or women, so I'm not really thrilled about this decision.

My last GF was this way, constantly needed validation to the point where it was pathetic. Honestly, I am as much at fault for dating someone so broken. Anyway, it was a fucking blessing that it ended, in hindsight.

Thats not a bad idea actually! Theres this "alternative" christian church in Denver called "Scum of the Earth" that I immediately thought of, because not only are there girls that go to church there, but they are girls who don't think they even fit in at a regular church. I dated a girl who went there, and, surprise, she also had daddy issues.

I dunno, I feel like there are plenty of women that come from a good, stable, home where the father is present and non-abusive.

Wow. I think this is it to be honest. I have a problem with turning these into LTRs too, which I should avoid in the future and just try and keep them as a side chick.

Late to the party here but hoping to get a few responses from you guys. I have been subscribed to TRP for quite some time now, and a lot of info I get here I find useful, but most of the time, this sub comes across as hateful. I mean, like a general hatred or disdain for women. Why is this?

You know I've mentioned this before to friends but at 16, I remember the first time I got laid, it was with an 18 year old. I said no at first, but she very easily persuaded me and I suspect hormones had something to do with it. Also it was really really bad. I didn't know what I was doing really, and neither did she. I haven't experienced any mental anguish over it, as I'm often of the mindset that sex is just sex and doesn't have to be this emotional thing that has to be put on a pedestal, but…

You explained this really well, and when you put it THIS way, I get it. Thanks.

I don't think I fully grasp the point of this subreddit but I'm here because I am intrigued. I mean no disrespect, but this seems like some sort of childish games that a female would play also.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
