Agree , no contact and delete the traces , OP doesn’t need that shit / distraction in his life. From experience this is the best way to get some clarity.

Gotta say this sounds about right , I used to be a social chameleon, you end up with many acquaintances , and no friends .... it’s ok to not be friends with everyone , and it’s hard to break out of ..

Yes the social media part as well.. my ex would be on socials until 3am .. crazy part is I allowed that to occur, until I split from her anyway . I actually think to some extent that is the third part to be comfortable with in a relationship as well.

I am currently in one where I am in the same position, doubling her salary. I've attempted to have the talk seriously with her, its hard to gauge whether this stuff sinks in (spend v save, or living within your means!). I now know from previous relationships, it's actions not words these days to understand where women are truly coming from.. Agree money and/or sex (or apparent lack thereof) are likely to derail any relationship quickly.

Nice post, yep to most of these, the not missing shitty food thing has been big for me.. I used to binge on shitty food when stressed, now i deal with the shit/stress and not binge on the food, has done wonders for my body, which in turn boosted self esteem, which ended up with being treated differently by women (a side effect for sure). i'm about a year in post TRP, still slide back to beta/blue sometimes, but remember to reinforce, learn why i slid back , fix it and move forward

i guess i am worried i am still plugged in or that i am somehow still stuck in a white knight scenario, i don't believe i am. Or I am over thinking the relationship frames and balance of power (i tend to be glass half full) now that i have discovered this new part of my life..it's a confusing time i guess! I have to agree with some of the other comments, I think it will take longer than a few weeks to properly shift my view points around. thanks for asking that question, i think have more intros…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
