I'm trying to determine if this is a good thing for the little girl in that she get's to experience a father figure who hopefully loves her or if it'll teach her that she too can take advantage of stupid men when she grows up.

I'd love to turn this around on feminists and demand that YWCA allow men, and girl scouts allow boys. Not that any boy/man in their right mind would ever want into any of these organizations. It's just really shitty how men can't have their own space.
