If you flirted with her from a place of confidence and genuine interest in her, she most likely would’ve reacted well. Her reaction is essentially 30% your words, and 70% your body language/ tonality etc. Another thing you need to do is to let go of all expectations because trying to get a positive reaction out of her via carefully worded lines is going to come across as very needy. She's uptight because your language in that line is perhaps too formal, thus it can be difficult for her to distinguish whether or not you're flirting with her or if you're being judgmental. So my critiques would be... 1. Don't call her a camper, that sounds condescending. 2. In this case, don't use "assume" because it's a bit of a blanket statement, and she may feel you're confining her into this little box. 1	Revisiting absolute don't s of dating and relationships While a few of the rules are good guidelines, the rest of the rules are absolutely terrible guidelines, some of which are pretty misogynistic.
