Also, SHAPE. People want to focus on line and rendering and all the gloss, study shape. For a long time it was rough, you spend a decade toiling in obscurity and people think you're wasting your time because "You can't make money with art," but things are starting to turn around and as much as it can be a struggle it's satisfying on the days when hundreds of dollars in payments come in all from the thing everyone told you to stop doing.
