Yeah life is hard man. It would obviously be good to learn to know yourself, and find a drive for something. I guess most men in your position work on their physique and go on cool vacations, like the obvious South East Asia. That being said, you don't have to be impressive to get a woman. You can also be a good listener and a kind soul. You might start by asking women how they're really doing. Good luck my friend. Edit: just wondering, what do you do for a living?

I guess an open relationship might solve your problem. It's gonna create a lot of new ones though

Mmh, I don't agree with OP. You need positive interactions with women for your self esteem about your worth in the eyes of women to grow. The self-esteem is also based on that you do something that works. It seems a bit delusional to me to think you can just increase your self esteem in a vacuum and solve the problem this way. You just have to get out there and find a method that works for you so you can have some successes. I think even that projecting some fake confidence might be hurting you.…

I have a pretty high body count and it's indeed a lot of effort and less and less fulfilling the older I get. The thing is I don't aim to have a high body count, I'd love to find the love of my life. But that keeps not happening, so I keep on trying and at least I'm staying sharp and meeting women.

"I have a couple of girls who I see on a longer term basis who are marriage material, like they are incredibly devoted to me, they have notch counts of like 2 or 3 and don't give me any shit." What does Notch count mean?

Sure but there must be something more to it. Because else they'd still take someone home much more often.

If I'd put all the time and energy I put into chasing women into something productive, I'd be a successful, hardworking maybe even inspiring person. I'd probably have no problem finding a girlfriend because I'd be the kind of dependable person they dream of. Instead I'm incredibly average in my achievements and all my relationships fail because I'm not emotionally mature enough. Had a lot of sex though. Alas, not so cool anymore at 35. My friends would prefer a story about lawn maintenance.

I think he just genuinely believes he's nice to talk to. He's a secure guy. So he cares what people think of him, just not so much what some random strangers think about him.

So which major city are we talking about. I just came from Paris and the amount of girl groups there is limitless. It's almost impossible not to have the abundance mindset there. Though I'm sure the excellent weather there must've helped. Fun fact: Parisians have twice as many lovers as Londoners.

Yeah dude, it sucks. I actually ask the girl to do certain tasks like closing the curtains so I don't lose "it" with walking around. If do lose it, it won't come back with the same strength. I had a girl that would actually be quite disappointed every time that happened. Like if it was 100% hard she would come quite easily if she was on her belly, but with only say 80% this wasn't the case. So she would focused quite a bit on making sure that wouldnt happened 😅

Where are you living? Perhaps you should try a larger city where it's easier to find more cultured people, into your subgenre. In my home town you have a pretty hard time finding a jazz concert, let alone a good one. I did not have this problem in Amsterdam, or Paris, or Seattle.

For me is that they'll have sex with me but refuse to stay the night. Feels so empty if they leave after sex. I love sleeping together, would take it over the sex actually. Have breakfast the next morning, read the news paper and complain about politics ❤️ Anyways, I have no advice 😆 still beter than the whiney top rated reply

I completely feel you. I'm actually quite good with girls through learned behavior, good at getting them in bed that is, I'm still single at 34 and that is definitely not by choice. But I agree that all these silly games are very annoying and it would be a wonderful world if that wasn't necessary. I think it comes from the entirely different game that women play. They have everyone sexually attracted to them even if they don't particularly like them as a person, and some are willing to lie to se…

We’re waiting in line to get something to drink, and she starts stroking the palm of my hand with her fingers. I go to grab it and she pulls away saying “uhhh did you try to hold my hand?”. I make some comment saying sweaty hands are nothing to be embarrassed about. This one is gold

Bit of a male oriented perspective on a female issue. What she wants is a relationship, one with potential to be the relationship. So she needs to find some kind of system of pre-selection to find that guys. Easier said than done.

This sounds good enough. But reddit advice about dropping people that are shit always sounds good. So rarely is the advice to fight for relationships, or to work hard to get friends. I have quite a lot of friends, but I'm 31 now and I notice my friendships are withering slowly as people become more job and family oriented. I feel like this advice involves hanging around with people even less. I'm afraid I'd get lonely.

I'm very similar to you! Good social skills, many friends, average looks, good job. Except that I'm a blond Dutchman. I've also put a lot of time in getting women. In my case it did kind of make me happy, as it was a lot of fun. But it's also exhausting, there was a lot of drinking, and there is a lot of disappointment that I had to laugh off. I've even lost girls from being so unresponsive to setbacks or their bad behavior, that they felt they didn't matter to me. This works great for pick up, …

I have no advice, I've had this problem since I was 12, I still have it now that I'm 31. I have one friend that has absolutely amazing boobs, known her for 8 years now, still catch myself staring. However I've talk with other (hetro) women about it and they're also distracted by her cleavage. So let that be a consolement; it hits us all.

Very nice! I think these are good tips. They're a bit general though, making them hard to actually apply. But I guess that's hard to avoid. Also, you have a bit of a Bob Ross feel about you :p

I don't agree, they go hand in hand. Consider by analogy getting a job. It's helps to work on yourself and improve while unemployed, but it's when you finally found work and can prove your worth that you can finally really improve. And you'll be so much more confident if you are employed even though you're the still same person.

Tinder. And it helps that you get a lot more attractive to women as you get older. Now that I'm older I know who I am and what I want in life, I'm a lot more calm. When I was younger I would blurt out stupid Shit. That doesn't happen to me anymore.

I'm confused. this is very efficient chatting, where he immediately makes it sexual, and it works! What the hell is cringe worthy about that? I've used this strategy, and I can confirm it works.

I've never been a romantic. So for me a relationship isn't about falling in love, I haven't the emotional depth for it. It's about deciding to be with her. I'm jealous of people who fall in love easily, they have it easy. So maybe you're the same. Just make the decision.

That's a pretty small number. I'm the other extreme, I have about 20 good friends. I'm a 29 y/o Dutch guy with a girlfriend fyi; but I sure had a lot of fun in my single days thanks to this community. Anyways, the fact that you have only one guy friend and are better at talking to women leads me to believe that you're perhaps a bit too much in touch with your feminine side. So if I were you I'd focus on making more male friends. This is not easy to do when you're 34 though. I think your best bet…

I do think game changes post 30 (or post college). It's a lot calmer. Maybe ask her over to your place and cook some food for her while she's there. So she can relax and feel comfortable. So you're a good talker, but are you good at making friends? How many people do you consider friends?

Typical shit fatalistic reddit advice, always "break up" , "move on" , "she's not worth it" , "they're not real friends if they do that". I wish ya'll would just entertain some determination and grit for once. Anyways, she's not a lost cause. You just forgot to keep her excited and guessing. Love it! It weird right, how positive women respond if you just walk up to them and start talking. I usually say something along the lines of "Hey, you look interesting/cool/fun/nice so I thought I'd come talk to you for a bit"

It's the kind of woman you'd want to be in a relationship with. I'd say Claire Dunphy from Modern family is an example of an Alpha female. She is good looking, comfortable with her sexuality, smart, hard working, has a clear vision of what she wants and can be very charming if necessary.

Maybe you watch too much porn or live in a shitty city. I live a western European student city and the women here are of the charts! It's always a bit of a shock when I go to another town or non student city, that have a more accurate representation of the general population.

What? I wanted to get laid from when I was 12 already, you're a damn monk for being 17 and still wanting to wait. I lost my virginity when I was 16 I think. I live in western Europe though, so it's not full of judgy Christians. And it's legal to get drunk at 16 so that helps. So to be clear. Yes! Approach em dude!

I was aware of this seeming contradiction, so I read your post again but that one is good. So I stand by what I said. I keep saying I'll take the advice and try to approach women, but given the deep misanthropy, profound introversion and decade-long social atrophy, I don't see how anything could come of it. Here you also use difficult words, but to convey difficult concepts succinctly; it also shows you know yourself. So good writing, good content. Compare that with this: [..] certainly the fact…

Great post! I will incorporate this in my game. I'd like to add that giving a compliment creates a certain tension, so it's advisable to relieve that tension with a joke. Basically what Pull-Push does, but slightly different. "You have a very captivating way of walking, it's casual yet purposeful" "Oh thank you" "Did it take a lot of practice?" "Haha no!"
/r/seduction28/06/16 12:27 PM

certainly the fact that I have a good vocabulary here does not entitle me to more cerebral women Dude, please don't be that guy that uses more difficult words then necessary to try to convey intelligence. It doesn't, it just screams insecurity. Can you please just stop wallowing in self pity? Start lifting, get job.

I say socializing is a skill. It comes more naturally to some than to others, but it's a skill nonetheless. So you have to get better at it, which will require getting out of your comfort zone. What you're doing is like going swimming when you can barely keep your head afloat and concluding swimming isn't enjoyable. I like your writing style though. So maybe try OkCupid and go for the bookworms. And if you don't like lifting (I can relate) at least go running.

I've went on a date with a girl that I didn't really find attractive, not because I wanted the practice, but because I was too pantsy to reject her. It also didn't help that my friends thought she was pretty, and I couldn't figure out why I didn't like her. I guess it was because she was always smiling and jolly, but I could see that wasn't her at all. She wasn't happy, her life was empty. It's like the girl in the bar that is visibly uncomfortable with being in a loud bar, clearly dragged along…
