Confidence is just being comfortable with honesty. You are comfortable being honest about who you are, what you think, and what you want. It doesn't have to be an in-your-face attitude.

Perhaps reporting it is a good idea, but maybe just as much good can come out of handling this another way. I think you should sit down with her and just try to make her understand how you feel. From your brief description of her, I don't picture this as something that came out of malice, but the result of her simply being ignorant and insensitive. She just doesn't realize that this can bother a man. It doesn't compute. I dated a woman once who would do this sort of thing to me. It took a while …
