What do you mean “maybe”… she clearly was answering to you calling women who initiate desperate. She’s right. You are ironic. You can’t seriously be calling women desperate and complaining about us not taking initiatives enough. So exactly what do men want again?

Pretty good. Job hunting actually. You?

Lol i agree. I feel like all interviews and resumes should be done anonymously. No gender, no race, hell even interview via chat. Therefore there would have zero affirmative action

Male nannies do exist… are you saying you are looking for a job? We happened to be looking for a nanny.

My husband has never thought of opening his own zoo either. He also just shows up when all the hard work is done lolol

Lol my husband saw this and was like “yeah. Nope”. So i thibk it is equal. Everyone had equal say in refusal to work. Eventually the money will increase until someone is willing to take that risk. But that is your own choice

While I think generosity is a must, ring, not so much. I feel like a man should be willing to spend the money but I personally would not want an expensive ring bc i’m going to lose it.

Is a ring important? Yes. I love jewlery. I have jewlery to symbolize other things so why not something as big as marriage? I am very picky, so yes, i care a lot about what it looks like. How much he spends? Less so. Is it good quality? Then it’s fine. My husband got me2.5 sets (last set was bought with joint account). I did not like the first one… to be fair i gave him a list of 10 rings to pick from (all within his budget),… he choose to pick another ring that did not resemble any of the rings…

Hell yes. Would love to not be bleeding and cramping 20% of my fertile life, not have to get pregnant and give birth but still hAve a child, and not having everyone make assumptions on my job.

You can be fat and confident. You can be fit and lack confidence. People with confidence don’t go around putting others down. Insecure people do that. Insecure people made you insecure. Now you try to make others insecure because you are still insecure. from an overweight woman who is married to a “scrawny” guy.

Most men and women are overweight. An overweight woman have plenty of choices. I’m glad you improved but you shouldn’t be paying forward such toxicity. If i want to lose weight, i will. But i don’t want to be losing weight because of an Internet Bully like you. It’s an unhealthy mindset that will keep propagating. I recommend you work on your kindness. Ps. I am fine with your personal preference of thinner or fit girls. If someone you get matched with is not your cup of tea, just tell them j she…

Yes. I am aware. I have nothing against open relationships. Mine is semi open (i’m bi - my husband has no issues with me having another girl.) but i was referring to my friend cheating

I have a close friend, who has been tempted to cheat. I am not froends with her husband. In fact, i think he’s an abusive POS. Even then, i discourage cheating. However, if she does cheat, i would remain her friend but i think it would be super unwise to cheat for multiple reasons. Normaly it’s the lack of reapect for your partner - but given he’s a POS, whatever. Lack of respect for yourself. Lack of respect for the other person - either you are lying to them, or they don’t care you are a cheat…

I wouldn’t be opposed to someone with lower education than me but historically, i haven’t met many people who had zero college education and even less likely to become friends with them (just simply bc we are different people) All my partners have had doctorate degrees

Not sure why you call out women. Plenty of men are against this too. Jealousy, complicated relationships, risks of diseases and pregnancy with multiple partners are all reasons to avoid such actions.

It really depends. What kind of person are you? Whag kind of relationship do you seek? Traditional with a wife who will become a sahm? Man pays More modern society? Where you for sure pull your weight at home? (Which I ancedotally find even the men who aim for 50:50 don’t pull their full weight). Then it can either be who asked or split. Personally, (i’m a woman), if i am interested in him, i’ll let him pay, and i will follow up with “thanks for dinner, next one is on me”. If i have no intention…

Correct. The other person said you have to be attractive. But you can be unattractive yet still attract women.

Idk what you are trying to say. Are you calling my husband alpha or beta? Confused.

No? My husband is amazing. He’s a bit of a hidden gem (bc at first glance, you wouldn’t think he was a HVM). People who don’t know us thinks he won the game, but damn, everyone who knows us KNOWS i am the winner. 😍 I’m more physically attractive but he’s just better than me in most ways (minus financially dumb - so I just manage out money for us)

I put in a lot of effort with my husband and he’s not physically attractive (objectively, obviously, i find him super attractive).
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 01:26 PM

Let me be honest with you… If i’m already interested in a man, I’d do everything she did. Keep up a convo, show up, initiate next date (i do not offer to split but will suggest “let’s go to xyz next time, my treat this time”), continue convos etc. I have been slow and not putting in much effort with guys who I wasn’t that interested in but willing to give a chance. I basically just show up, without extra effort. How much effort i put in is how interested I am in him.

You may be confusing the avg guy who is usually fine with an avg woman with a guy on PPD who just hates women yet cannot stay away. That said, i have no idea why he married me. I’m so boring. Literally avg in everything, tempermental, and my fav hobby is watching tv shows or playing phone games. And i married some future soon to be world renowned surgeon. 😂😂☠️🥹 My best friend said i was a 6, and i was like meh ok. Then next month, she said she defined avg as a 7… she basically said i was below a…

I had a work husband. His gf dumped him for it, my husband couldn’t care. It was completely platonic, and my husband knew everything. I’d share Anss explain jokes i had during the day with my husband as if he was my girl friends at work. My work husband moved away but then came back. He treated me to lunch (just 4$), i said “thanks, is this alimony?” Lol

25 is when i felt my best and notice the most wanted attention - i’m not saying I went downhill in terms of attractiveness, if anything I think i got more attractive but i stopped noticing the male gaze as frequently simply bc that’s the age i met my husband and i just stopped noticing other men’s existence. That said, i’m 32 now, a new mom, i still get attention, but it’s obviously unwanted. I assume all respectful attention is platonic and the rest are disrespectful and unwanted

What is my husband then? He is confident, not cocky, but humble. Because confidence is internal. He has great leadership skills. But part of being a leader is having the ability to listen. Family decision is always joint because he values my input and we come up with a solution in the middle. He doesn’t believe in social dominence but everyone loves him. He’s not afraid to set anyone straight but he knows to pick his battles. If I want ice cream at 2 am while pregnant, he’ll get me ice cream. Bu…
