So you have two problems: approaching and keeping the conversation going. For approaching, do you have time to get a job in retail? It's great to force you to talk to people of the opposite sex (customers and employees). For keeping the conversation going, sounds like you need to get a life. I haven't been there for a long time and I've moved on from most of the PUA stuff. Phoenix has one or two very active seduction Meetup.com groups. You should hit them up.

If it is game that you care about, Scottsdale is it. I feel like it is a great secret no body knows about. When it comes to night clubs, I think it is on par with any major city when it comes to the number and quality of women. I would say only Vegas beats it, but guess what city is only an hour flight away from Phoenix? Sometimes you can get a ticket for just $50.

I can give you the dirt on Phoenix. Mesa is generally on the crappy side and Gilbert (especially the southern part) is very nice. Both are pretty much crap when it comes to the night scene. It is mostly just restaurants. There are a few bars. The only decent one that comes to mind is Dos Gringos. But Phoenix is actually one of the best party scenes out there. Why? ASU and Scottsdale. Rickonis is right. Date the the girls that are interested in you. Even if they aren't right for you, the experiences will grow you as a person and maybe it'll help you get over your social anxiety too.
