I don't know about everyone else, but what made me upset and incredibly sad was how many people said things like "They proved that they were real men by protecting their women", explaining how "any real man would sacrifice himself for their woman, anything else makes you a weak and pathetic loser". Comments like that were all over the place on one article. Do you think that is acceptable?

I've always wondered why the average redditor is ok with using "virgin", "neckbeard" and similar words as an insult but gets furious when people use "slut" or "bitch" as an insult. I thought people hated gender based insults or sexual shaming. It's often used extremely casually, like if a picture is submitted where a man plays a harmless prank on a woman.

Somewhat related, I remember seeing an askreddit post where I believe they asked what peoples turnoffs were. "short men" or "size does matter" got upvoted highly, men who tried to question the size does matter mainly got mocked. One guy who said "small breasts" got downvoted and one person replied to his post with "Shallow men" which got upvoted. The rest of the responses to his post were basically "I love small breasts!" and women replying "This makes me happy" EDIT: http://www.reddit.com/r/Ask…

They don't regulate how people spend the money, she can do whatever she want with it provided that she still creates those no-budget videos to please those donating. Also, renting a quality camera and buying some video games doesn't cost 25000 dollars. It's a totally made-up and ridiculous number which is kinda dishonest of her, regardless whether people support her or not. Kickstarter is not about giving money to people you like. It's about funding honest projects that wouldn't be made otherwis…

So, she becomes rich by exploiting male guilt over the internet while basically doing nothing. The subtlety of it all is genius. It bet she planned this all out before even starting with her videos. "Well, I don't feel like working.. How should I earn money? I like making youtube videos and playing video games, but how will I earn money doing that? Let's play videos are so 2010 and it takes creativity to actually earn money from it."

You guys should check the definition of "women" and then for "men". I remember back in the days when urbandictionary actually made somewhat witty and fun definitions, not spouting outright hatred like this. Thankfully the definition of "sexism" isn't biased. yet.
