At this point, you have to sell out or live by the “pull the goalie mentality.” She may turn it down, but you have no chance of success if you don’t go for it, and it’s clear your time is running out. Like the comment above said, next chance you have ask her out. Be confident, you’ve got this!

Ain't that the truth lol. It's rough that I had to lose a friendship over it but that's the way it goes.

I just want to clarify before this thread continues that I understood that a friends with benefits situation is not "exclusive" in any way. If it was, it would be a relationship. I did not end it because she told me she was hooking up with other guys because I expected that. I ended it because of the way she angrily came out and tried to throw things in my face: that's a clear sign of an unhealthy interaction. I think you're reading too much into this post like I'm trying to be victimized by the…

She's certainly a questionable character.

I don't think you understand this post at all. I was not played, this was a cautionary tale about how I could've been played. I feel like you're extremely rattled about this post for some reason. I think that you think I posted this to act like I'm superior in some way, that's not the case. Relax.

That's tough. I totally understand where you're coming from, it's brutal that people enjoying playing people like that. Keep your chin up, you'll get through this.

I wouldn't say you'll never get laid, but even your attitude of being "laid back" seems like you're forcing it. I don't know you though, so I could be wrong.

Whatever it is, make sure it's something you enjoy. Often times you'll be acting like yourself, and comfortably, so it will be much easier to talk to them. This exudes confidence, kind of works from there. That's what I've been having success with.

Hey man. First off, the fact that you're able to approach and not be destroyed when turned down is impressive in and of itself. It's the small wins. Second, I wanted to share this video I saw a little while back. I've started to apply it more to other things in my life, but specifically approaching and interacting with girls. Give this a watch, it changed the way I look at things: https://youtu.be/D_pGQBdX55Y Hope this helps, and keep going!

Are you satisfied with your friend group? That's the first question I would ask myself. If not, why? Are there certain characteristics that your friend group has that maybe you aren't crazy about? If this is the case, you could be feeling like you aren't being "yourself" and because of this, you're not likeable to other people. Start there, and if you have confidence issues, just relax a little bit. You have friends for a reason, so think about your stronger attributes, and what you can do to br…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
