Lol. Dudes on the internet are more obsessed with the mythological "Chad" than women are. I wish they would just come out of the closet already 😅

I know now that it’s someone’s character that matters not what they wear or if they’re “trad”. I feel so stupid for thinking that a girl dressing a certain way or not being religious would automatically lead to her cheating on me. r/PastorArrested is an eye opener and goes to show that the "Christian" label is about aesthetics and appearances for alot of religious types. It's a shame that the concept of a "nice girl" or "good woman" was bastardized by redpill and based on how much of a people-pl…

He was depressed while we were dating and I knew that. He gained a lot of weight, jobless, and self conscious. I tried to help him out to the best of my abilities, Unfortunately RP targets very depressed and/or disenfranchised men. Sometimes it's too late and the other person is already far too gone. He became obsessed with exposing female nature and doing shit tests on me, telling me that I'm insecure Classic projection. HE was the insecure one. Breaking up with him might be the wake up call he…

I want to write off OP as a troll but there isn't enough proof that his side of the story didn't happen. It's inside the realm of possibility. It's an issue that is widespread on Reddit - there is no foolproof way to know for sure what's real, what's fake, or exaggerated/misconstrued. Over the past few years I've been on this sub I have noticed an uptick in very questionable posts like this, coming from day-old throwaway accounts. I suspect that randos from the redpill crowd are agenda posting a…

I'm really starting to side eye these questionable "stories" from newish accounts that are day or two old. We can't prove that their post is fake but it's very strange that people create throwaway accounts just to make these posts.

I'm sorry for what you've been through. However, not everyone with BPD is going to be abusive (even males can get BPD). That is a really dangerous and ignorant narrative to spread. You wouldn't label every schizophrenic individual as dangerous or violent. The problem with RP is that a lot of them will label certain women as having BPD without any proof whatsoever and not through a professional medical lens. It's one of the many smear campaigns they like to run.

"Men pair bonding slowly" is the dumbest bit I've ever heard. Literally no evidence to back this up.

For what it's worth, those women that they deem "unattractive" and "unworthy" are much more mentally stable and pleasant to be around then RP men.

This is the issue that happened with MGTOW or other men's rights spaces. What started out as discussion and support divulges into bashing women. Literally nothing about this sub indicates that it is a "feminist hegemony". It just goes go show that any criticism of redpill ideology is met with tantrums and irrational accusations. Imo they are turning into a cult.

That's what I said as well. Most of the users here would call it out if they had to but most of them haven't had the opportunity. Posting and asking this in a exredpill sub of all places is disingenuous and reeks of pushing an ideology.

Again, it's YOUR assumption which you have a right to. What I'm asking is no different than me asking; "Hey cops, would you hold a toxic/corrupt cop accountable?" Same exact thing I'm not assuming anything. I am stating facts. Most of the people in this sub aren't even women and many of them (male and female) would call out a female friend for being hateful towards men. You're wasting your time posing this question in a sub that doesn't even center it's discussions around that particular topic, …

You realize you're getting nowhere with this post right? You're not actually challenging or changing anyone's beliefs in the exredpill sub of all places, especially when there are only 17K subs, a good portion of which aren't even active. You'd be better off posting this question r/MensLib or r/AskFeminists. Which btw, I don't think that you are even asking in good faith.

I know this is a serious post but I just wanted to lol at the "skincare routine" part because women are the ones who are doing some crazy 10-step Korean skincare routine or getting facials, or buying those futuristic skincare tech gadgets.

Misandry DOES happen but it's not as big of an epidemic or has the same consequences that misogyny does. OP creating hypothetical situations plus operating from a sock puppet account makes me think this is a agenda post. The post is irrelevant to r/exredpill and it's trying to derail conversations here. If OP really wanted to get traction, he'd post in a larger sub and one that is actually going to have similar posts and conversations.

It depends on what your definition of "misandrist" is. I've seen women get called misandrists for citing rape statistics or even just telling jokes. Ironically, it's the men who make misogynistic jokes who get offended over jokes they perceive as "misandrist" (they can dish it but they can't take it lols) There are some things that I do try to shut down or call out, like the "All men are trash" expression or "Kill all men" - these are obviously very ignorant and backwards statements. Mens subs rarely accomplish anything because they are too busy whining about women. The irony is that if you bring up men's issues like mental health, the post won't get nearly the same amount of traffic and attention as some post shitting on women.

Yeah, it's definitely shitty to be accused of being Borderline and having that damage your reputation. That's why I don't take anyone seriously who isn't a professional because it's all assumptions and speculation at that point. It's stupid that people would take someone seriously when they have no credibility 🙄

I'm not sure if it is classified as slander but legally they can't diagnose anyone without psych certifications. Even then, there is a difference between getting diagnosed by some rando and getting a consultation with a professional who follows a code of ethics and professionalism. As much as I dislike the health and mental health industrial complex, the bureaucracy keeps the delusional idiots out.

I'm not really sure what point you're getting at here. The type of women who date redpillers are the type of woman who usually has some combination of self-esteem issues/self-doubt/anxiety/depression so that relationship is already starting out badly from the jump. Technically she is better off without the redpill dude who is treating her like crap but until she works on her issues then she is going to continue to attract the same type of guy.

Redpillers gaslight their partners alot. I'm aware the term "gaslighting" gets frequently misused in discourse about relationships. However, redpillers are often doing just that - planting seeds of doubt and insecurity in a person's mind, with the end goal of getting them to question their reality and distrust themselves. https://www.verywellmind.com/is-someone-gaslighting-you-4147470 Alot of redpillers will accuse women of being "borderline" but they have little to no proof that 1) The woman ha…

Just as another commenter stated, most of the guides and resources that tell you what to watch out for are not gender-specific. Manipulation and abuse tactics are used by all genders. They might vary in their tactics or styles and have different goals, whether that is to extract money from you or keep you trapped in a domestic abusive situation. You can try Googling things like "How to spot a female manipulator", "Signs of a Narcissist' or even "Common abuse tactics"

TRP is intentionally vague about their "statistics" because any data they have is cherry picked, misrepresented or completely made up. I've reversed image-searched several "graphs" and "charts" that are typically found on red pill sites and blogs and there is no original source for them. Keep in mind these are the types of graphs/charts that suspiciously looks like they were created in Microsoft Publisher by literally anyone - down to the same generic template. And the fact that they haven't responded in 3 hours of posting this is very odd. It's so pathetic that men try to LARP as women on Reddit, and it's even more pathetic when they do this in order to push redpill agenda or other misogynistic garbage.

This sounds like another suspiciously questionable (most likely fake) post like the one from the "girl" that posted asking "Should I (female) die once I can't produce anyone?". > Myron claimed he'll be religious once he gets married. But for the muslim culture, male promiscuity is the same for female promiscuity. Sex outside of marriage is a major sin, and both gender will be hold accountable. Myron led a sinful lifestyle and he will be hold accountable. There are a lot of redpillers who will try to also try and LARP as a Christian when it benefits them personally. It's so tiresome.

I am going to make a post of this but I have found graphs that look like they were created in Microsoft Word/Publisher by some rando... It put me in a position of always trying to please her but feeling like it was never enough. And eventually she just broke up with me without explaining why. People who do this (not exclusively a red pill thing) leech off their partners. Not even just a financial sense but also emotionally and mentally. They're energy vampires, and when they've had their "fill" of you, they will leave you feeling empty and promptly move on to the next victim (which more than likely, they already have lined up. L…

"Dread game" is emotional abuse and manipulation where the goal is to keep the other person "addicted" to you. Someone below mentioned attachment styles. Dread game preys on people with anxious attachment styles who crave emotional validation from their partner and fear abandonment. Alot of abuser/victim relationships are set up like this.
/r/ExRedPill18/07/22 04:25 PM

Redpill strategies attract women who are not emotionally stable and have mental health issues. This is ironic considering: Redpillers will complain about "women being mentally ill" but fail to realize that they're only attracting this exact woman and they will continue to reap what they sow. Redpillers are often emotionally unstable themselves. No one who is happy and emotionally and mentally stable is going to be using "dread game" on people.

I think the disconnect is due to the fact that people who think this way are very "chronically online" and they fall into various echo chambers full of people who push these neurotic ideas. They have a very distorted sense of reality that is so bad that even if they went outside, they would just seek out examples that fulfill their confirmation bias.

I never understood this bit about "baggage" because everyone regardless of gender/race/background is going to get kicked in the ass by life. Unfortunately, for some people, the trauma and abuse can start very young. "baggage" is not something that gets reserved for women over a certain age.

Women hang out at the finish line and fuck the winners. When you make it. When you achieve your goals. To them, only women are capable of making a false allegation and men will tell the truth 100% of the time. Again, it just goes to show that they never cared about sexual assault survivors in the first place because all they do is go in circles and get nowhere.
/r/ExRedPill11/04/22 08:15 PM

Spoiler Alert: they don't care about survivors of assault, male or female. They dabble in "whataboutism" to try to change the conversation away from issues. They don't care about the issue as a whole and their "concern" is nothing more than virtue signaling. Depends on what your budget is and what "affordable" looks like to you. And yeah, many people would do injections since they're cheaper than surgery.
/r/ExRedPill31/03/22 12:08 AM
11

For sure. Which is why most of these surgeons' clients are celebrities or well-off people getting. There is a growing amount of "regular" people who are starting to get work done. It's usually something that they save up for, get it as a gift from someone, or do a payment plan with the doctor.
/r/ExRedPill29/03/22 04:25 PM

Those celebrities have gotten work done or some kind of plastic surgery - even the male celebrities. Hence why they "look good for their age". It's naive to chalk it all up to "good genetics" or a "healthy lifestyle". I love JLo and Gwen so this isn't a hater post. It's just the reality of what it is. Even though plastic surgery and botox are more common now among the main consumer base, it's still taboo to be openly discussing the fact that you got work done.

Bait-and-switch is a very good choice of words. Abusers and users won't introduce themselves as abusers and users. Quite the opposite- they will (attempt) to be some of the kindest, loving people you know until the mask slips, right around the time when they start to fully gain their victims trust.

Redpill/MGTOW/incel culture is part of the alt-right pipeline. When the MGTOW sub was still around there was alof of misogyny but there was also a decent amount of racism and anti-semetic hate. A common delusion of theirs is claiming feminism is a "Jewish conspiracy" to destroy the family 🙄

At the end of the day, they are victims of their own bitterness and self-delusion. They waste endless hours of their life "hating" on women, which ends up turning into an unhealthy obsession. You can tell by the amount of content online that they have spent alot of time and energy on it. Imagine wasting most of your free time creating this content on the internet instead of something that will benefit your life. That's sad.
/r/ExRedPill09/08/21 04:15 PM

Because they don't actually want people to "think for themselves." They just want you to think exactly like they do. Alot of redpillers push the "cultural maxism" conspiracy delusion because they are terrified of people thinking for themselves and holding different ideals.

The extent that women go to make themselves more attractive is an entirely different conversation. Makeup takes some skill but it's not rocket science, I'd hardly call it going a "hell of an extent". Truthfully, men or women can put in the effort to make themselves look more attractive. There is no need to be salty in thinking women have some up…

It's all perception though. A professional makeup artist can see though the tricks and it becomes apparent that women are overlining lips or covering up bad skin. The only reason why people are bewildered is because they don't understand the science and artistry behind makeup or how the skin reacts to it. If you look at a face full of makeup up close and personal (without picture lightning or filters) it's really obvious what was covered up. I have also seen girlfriends transform their attractiv…

Ah yes, I am inundated with choice of products that I need and love and vote with my wallet, but when I spend the money, I can blame capitalism for "forcing" or "coercing" me to part with my cash. Of course nobody is forcing women to spend money or putting a gun to their heads. But the level of coercion is still there. If women don't want to support the multibillion dollar fashion and beauty industries, then they should stop fucking buying that stuff. Most women don't mind supporting a multibill…

Makeup doesn't perform miracles. If a woman is already very unattractive than makeup is going to be more of a hindrance than an advantage. The entire purpose of makeup is to highlight features that are already attractive and doesn't necessarily make a woman look more attractive, especially if it's badly applied.

I never claimed it was patriarchy or "white men". The majority of beauty companies for makeup, skincare and hair and run by women or gay men. These companies want to make money off of women and they know that they can use marketing tactics that involve targeting women's ego and self esteem, and yes to get that "edge" on one another. The "female social matrix" doesn't exist and is just as dumb as feminist theories. In reality it's capitalism at work comidifying beauty products and sucking as much…

women’s beauty standards are what they are because someone figured if they could make women need make up and fake boobs to feel secure then they could sell women a whole bunch of shit and make billions.. since women are the greatest consumers.. like you have a makeup , weave and plastic surgery industry running because of it.. The chances of birth defects during pregnancy in your 30s does increase but it's not a significant amount. The risk of birth defects is always there, regardless of age. My parents had my sister and I at almost the same ages you shared and we had no birth defects.

People who think that a woman in her 30s is going to have a problem are probably a super anal weirdo. Women in their 30s get pregnant and give birth all the time. Dudes who sit on Reddit all day on red pill blogs don't work in OBGYN's or hospitals are out of touch with what's going on in the medical world and the real world in general.

Men will overlook personality and severe mental issues, insecurities, etc just because you look attractive to them. It is sad, especially for a woman to find out that men generally just care about looks. I've seen some posts where women in their 30s wonder why men are not into them when they have a career, good future, etc. It's just men don't value career and stuff as much. Structurally, for the amount of free vacations gifts and everything elsefemales can get from the age 19 to 25... it’s like handing someone 1-3million in social equity.... I think you are vastly overestimating the amount of women in that age range who are getting access to that lifestyle. It's only a small percentage. I think another thing is that fatness is relative. A lot of overweight, lower end obese people think they are average, or just a bit heavy. Thus 'fat girl' for them is someone heavier, not the same degree of overweightness. There is some truth to redpill concepts, and I think we can all personally attest to that. But most of it is completely false. The reason why people get sucked into redpill is because it offers that shred of truth while simultaneously filling their head with nonsense. The problem is that redpill preys on insecurities, and we become victim to our own thoughts and fears through that. That's why it can be difficult to disconnect from it. As a result you'll find arguments using redpill that are devo…

It sucks that the concept of "redpill" got co-opted by shitty men with insecurities and mommy issues. The Matrix was one of my favorite movies growing up too. I thought the concept was fresh for it's time.

That is actually a very good point. I don't see this level of anger and shitty attitude from men getting turned down by companies or getting a bad grade on a test. The rejection from dating is something that they take very personally.

Alot of learned helplessness that women have is from being coddled and treated like children who are incapable of handling responsibilities and making adult decisions. There is nothing "Benevolent" about Benevolent sexism and it hurts women. We are all codependent to a certain degree as we make the shift from adolescence to adulthood. No one is going to have everything figured out for themselves overnight. The extreme forms of codependency usually stem from past trauma but a therapist who specia…

I mentioned doxxing in an earlier comment as to revealing identities and I want to make it clear I do not support that. Some of the rumors I've seen mentioned that users in that sub forgot to comment under the same account they used in a conversation and it looked shady. If you are a woman there are certain things worded that make you raise an eyebrow but it's hard to say for certain that it was written by a man.

As a disclaimer I wasn't suggesting that we dox anyone. I was just saying that it's possible for accounts to get doxxed. Apparently it's easy to doxx someone if they reveal too much personal info. I also think either mods or Reddit admins have access to users IP addresses and locations.

I wouldn't put it past them to write their own fan fiction. I also suspect alot of the personal "stories" shared on redpill/MGTOW subs are exaggerated or mostly fake. As for RPW I've only seen rumors circulate about the sock puppet accounts but since Reddit is anonymous in nature there is no way to verify these accounts are legit. It's possible that an account can get doxxed but I doubt it'd gone that far on RPW.

I've searched that sub just now for "red pill men" related content and it seems like no one has a clear definition of what a "red pill man" is. A well-made sock puppet account will invest into appearing legit. If you are a female you definitely get the feeling something is off about their account but you can't quite put your finger on it. The original graphs are citing number of sexual partners prior to and percentage of marriages that have ended in divorce. The NSFG guide mentions columns for number of sexual partners prior to marriage and current marital status (along with date of marriage if they're married or formerly married). How on earth is that 'irrelevant'? These are the data fields shown on those graphs. If that's irrelevant, what data would the survey have to collect in order to be relevant in your eyes? They are not e…

It was on the CDC website but the studies were from the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nsfg/index.htm What's interesting is that the IFS claims that their data was from the NSFG but when I went through their archives on the CDC website I couldn't find the numbers that were referenced. The Institute of Family Studies you mean? That's where RP blogs are basing these graphs from. The IFS does reference legitimate research in their blogs, but they don't contain the numbers that they provided on sexual history and the impact that it has on divorce and marriage. The data can still be legit but that doesn't mean their representation via graphs is reflected off that and accurately based off said studies. It's loosely based off those studies. The manosphere doesn't believe in real traditionalism, regardless of what they claim. They believe in a bastardized, heavily romanticized version of traditionalism where they are fully in control of women and relationships. They have a warped perception of what life was like "back then" and the reality is very different than the story that they tell themselves in their heads. Society isn't going to "revert" back to traditionalism, at least not anytime soon. And if it does revert back to traditio…

Pretty much. These hustlers saw an opportunity to market dating/lifestyle "coaching" programs, books, classes and seminars to lonely, downtrodden and desperate men. Some of these coaches are at legit but there are alot of scammers trying to cash in on the current demographic of men with low self-esteem. Some of them are obsessed with gatekeeping information because they think it will become rendered "useless" and will no longer "work". They also know that talking about RP ideas are going to get them ostracized in certain social circles or professional settings. That's another reason they don't discuss outloud. Lol at the Fight club reference. They don't realize that Fight Club is meant to be a satire and the irony is lost on them.

I try not to assumptions about mental health on subreddits because I don't know them in real life. From my observation they seem like they are struggling with something like antisocial PD or NPD. I think the problem with these assumptions is that they generalize an entire group of people. Unless you've personally met every female in the west, then there is no reason to believe they all think like this. There are definitely women out there who have sky high standards who are also lacking in quality. There are also women with reasonable standards who more often than not, find what they're looking for. Redpill loves to fixate on women who have crazy standards because it's a projection of th…

The way I see it is that there are unhappy people in many different kinds of arrangements, regardless of whether they are two unattractive people, two attractive people or a pairing with only one "attractive" person. I've been with lots of girls who have "depression" and "anxiety" issues, which have nothing to due with being good or bad person, but in my experience mental health issues are usually the tip of the iceberg and there's usually something festering underneath It's like you're completely clueless as to how any type of mental health works. Funny enough, I have male friends who have anxiety and depression and take meds. There isn't the same weird stigma attached to their mental health issues. Why would you put a label on something that you don't know shit about? You're basically telling me that you're not knowledgeable in an area but you think you are. What kind of cognitive dissonance is that? Fuck it. With that logic I'm going to start telling people Im a rocket science or an aerospace engineer because "fuck experts". I don't need credentials.

That's fine but don't try to put a label on something when you aren't 100% informed on. I think the term you're looking for is "red flags".

I don't necessarily disagree with you but I have to point out a few things: RPW is all about entrapping a man by lying to him, pretending to be submissive and naive and then manipulating him over time to procure what she wants in life. So? Fuckboys also use deceptive strategies to get what they want - which is sleeping with with women. That is on the same level as wearing makeup. By the way, "deceptive" is a matter of perspective. There is nothing immoral about what either party is doing. It only becomes an issue when insecure people get triggered by it. Edit- it's only deceptive if the other party is stupid, weak or naive enough to take it seriously or misinterpret it. Your responsibile for your own lack of awareness

I disagree. I think there is a certain level of mental gymnastics that goes on here. Guys saying this is equivalent to women saying "No fuckbois". You're still pursuing the very thing you claim to despise. Women subsconsciouly know fuckboys deceive them but still pursue them. Women wearing makeup has never stopped men from pursuing them. Despite men making these proclamations

LOL Guys will say things like “I prefer you with no makeup on” or “I prefer girls with no make-up”. The actions of the vast majority of them prove otherwise. They still pursue women who wear makeup and its not a dealbreaker for most of them. This is the male equivalent of girls who say "I don't like fuckboys" but still pursue them Both are classic examples of people who say one thing then do the opposite.

Lol what? Do you know much shit the Bible tells everyone to do? I know that inspired cultures and generations of men to actually believe that women are inferior to men. And even in 2018 this idea has managed to stay alive. Are you implying that men are dumb enough to belive this because of the Bible and so called religious tradition? I couldnt agree more. In fact, I'm embarrassed that humanity has held onto that for so long.

Getting married too old often leads to divorces. But it's not the age that matters. Because you know, age wouldn't cause anything. it would be immaturity not youth. So the solution is be more mature. Saying the solution is making the average marrying age older is skirting around the problems. One of the biggest causes for divorce is having previous sex partners, There isn't a divorce stastistic out there that shows that: 1. Getting married too old leads to divorces and 2. That is some toxic medical propaganda you're spreading. You're right in that complications might increase as the woman gets into her 30s but that is just a risk factor, not a guarantee that her baby will have health complications. Age is also one factor in pregnancy. Genetics gets into play at this point, each parents health, etc. My mother had me at 35 and my sister at 40. We both can put fine and healthy. For women: men place little to no value on your achievements and achievements are very costly in terms of time and effort. Thinking that men value status is projecting, and can even limit your options unwittingly. If your aim is to land a partner, appearance and health will probably give you the best return for your time. This isn't necessarily true. Men don't necessarily care about status for casual hookups but not so much for LTRs or marriage. Appearance and health are important but they aren'…

Imagine being a dude mistreated by women all his life, and everyone tells you you're in the wrong when you complain... then one day you find a place where people hear you and understand you. To a person who's been hurt, that could be enough to make them look past the sexist stuff, or even accept it because of their history. This is also how many females get into feminism. Most would argue that it is part entitlement but most of its members have been burned in some way. Food for thought.

If both partners work, they should split up housework. If one partner doesn't work, they should do the housework. That's pretty fair way of splitting it evenly. I think you're misisng the point. They aren't claiming rhat women are special snowflakes. Rather that women have different values, desires and motivations than others. Ok even if a partner is possessive and/or controlling that still takes a shit ton of time and energy. Think about the amount of effort needed to manage another on that level. Those arent a consistent factor either. Plus sized models have hourglass curvy figures. Alot of fashion models have a railthin look that was popularized back in the "heroin chic" look from the 90s
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/18 04:47 AM

Again I disagree. Different eras and cultures in history have valued different features. There is no consistent "look" with the exception of youth. You ever look at the artwork of guys like Rubens, its full of overweight and obese women with round faces. That was considered be beautiful by those standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/18 04:20 AM

I disagree. Look at the different eras surround makeup and how they chose to draw attention to certain features. Such as pencil thin brows in the flapper era and the 90s. Or how there has been a growing trend of large lips over the past decade. Also, nobody cared about contoured checks in the 50s.....

It's not just for clothing. It applies to face shapes and features, body preferences and height and weight. Victorian corsets were worn for the aim of tiny waists. Chinese foot binding for smaller feet. Women in Thailand using metal bands to elongate their necks. These are just a few examples.

I have fond memories as well but that doesn't mean that they were quality relationships. When you're young your brain is still developing, and you're not fully matured yet. Sure, having a relationship when your young is nice and everything but few young people understand what love is especially the energy, consistency and dedication you put into it. Again, let's not confuse infatuation or lust with love.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/18 01:23 PM

Infatuation is NOT the same thing as love. Younger people tend to get caught up in their naivety and infatuation and are not mature enough to understand love. It's not that women lose the ability to love as they age. Rather, they are more mature and aren't going to suffer from "puppy love" or drop out post honeymoon phase. No one looks back at their younger relationships and think they were good, or even real for that matter. Love is so much more than a "look in their eyes". Tbh it sounds like s…

Yes there are. I am one of them. Although in the BDSM community I'm what you would call a switch- sometimes I want to play submissive or dominant depending on my mood. IRL(outside the bedroom) I have a headstrong independent personality and I guess that's how it translates in the bedroom?

I also grew up with sex negative religous sex es and I think its the least effective and unrealistic. Most people are not truely religious or spiritual enough to understand the impact of sex on their body/mind/soul. At that point it's a shaming tactic that is counterintuitive and causes young people to act out and rebel against it. I went to Catholic school school where we were taught sex negative religious sex ed. I would say it was 85-90% ineffective. I agree that men want low n count woman an…

At this point your confusing resentment, defined as holding onto bitter feelings for a long period of time with being dissatisfaction over politics. You do realize people can be dissatisfied with the current state of affairs And not have a deep resentment toward the world? Disagreeing with something isn't enough to make someone become bitter. At this point is semantics and I'm not sure if English is your first language? Resentment means something else to you. And yes. All those groups are solips…

Yeah and all those groups have alot in common- solipst and caught up in their own identity politics. If they changed their perspective and started to become a little more self aware and aware of the world around them than they would let go of some of that resentment. Resentment doesn't = beliefs/values/standards. Resentment is a complete waste of ones time and energy, not to mention bad for your physical and mental health.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/18 03:14 AM

Its entirely possible to have a strong set of values, worldly attachments and skin in the game and still manage to not be resentful. What's the point of being resentful? Life is unfair. You can either accept it or try to change it but don't sulk in your corner. You dont have yo be a safe but dont suffer the same fate of those whose souls have died.

Spot on. Being a "nice guy" or "nice girl" is just a selling point and has little to do with being nice. The label has more to do with how you project yourself and how the opposite sex percieves you than it does with being a good person. I think "nice" is also misused alot to mean a person (male or female) is perceived as boring or submissive. The term nice used to mean empathetic and kind to others, now it's an overused label with a hollow meaning. It's also too general and vague, hence why it …

This is true. I've been in public with messy hair, no makeup, and oversized clothing and yet I still get unwanted attention. Dressing modestly only DECREASES your chances of unwanted attention, it's not a solution and doesn't make the problem go away.

When men say that they want a "nice girl" what he's describing is low n-count, submissive, and naive. A nice girl who is sweet but only surrenders to him. Which is fine to want by the way, but I don't think that is what constitutes as being nice. To me, bring "nice" has more to do with having good character, empathy, and a strong moral compass. It has less to do with being a malleable people pleaser and more to do with upholding values and respecting others. It sucks that the expectation of a "n…

I don't like how we are putting a label on things like "toxic masculinity" or "toxic femininity" Humans are shit - we're selfish, destructive, manipulative, entitled etc. Toxic humans have existed since the dawn of time - regardless of gender or time period. I do not think it takes low self esteem to suffer being alpha widowed but if one cannot take their lumps and learn to be better, as with any type of relationship, they are doomed to repeat their mistakes rather than improve. 95% of men will never give her tingles. It is not always about money or status. It is about the way a man makes you feel. That is my take on it. Because of my personal experience, I gave chances to unattractive guys.

These incels actually try, they have a go and get dumpstered.. you were a late bloomer not an incel. Women can't be involuntarily celibate, even at 10% effort they can get laid. It could have also been that I went to a very small suburban Catholic high school that was full of other sheltered, sexually-repressed/sexually-frustrated teenagers. This was also 2006-2009 and a VERY different time than now. Alot of these kids were just awkward and naive about things like sex, and incredibly sheltered. …

I don't think I even knew what I wanted. I was just a very awkward, confused teenager with 0 social skills and self confidence. I didn't even know how to MAKE FRIENDS let alone speak to guys. Anyone can clean up. You just have to be willing to do so.

To be fair I had 0 social skills in my teens and had horrible self-confidence. I was barely able to make friends, so dating would have been too confusing for me. It's not that I didn't try (because I did) but I didn't even know how.

If you were a 4, you would still be capable of getting offers for casual sex if you really put in the effort to go out to clubs, or whatever. Lack of expedient sex =/= incel I also had 0 social skills and wouldn't have known how to approach that. I forgot to mention in the post but I was also a loner throughout high school. I had like 1 good friend and was painfully shy. It's also hard for the under 18 crowd to go to clubs (at least in my town it was). The closest thing to a club I went to was l…

To clarify I was also at least 20-30 lbs overweight so yeah you could say there was something wrong with my body but it was fixable. I was probably being a bit hard on myself when I said 4, but I definitely wasn't higher than a five. Good bone structure can be ruined by being overweight.

Generally speaking, men want sex and women want attention. Men pretty much cannot get sex without giving women attention. Women can easily get attention without giving men sex. That makes sense but I don't see how incels benefit from that, male or female. I think female incels might benefit from that a little bit but not as much as say- a moderately attractive girl or a very attractive girl. If ANYONE won the Tinder game, it would be moderately attractive and very attractive girls. It boosted mo…

What did you do differently in college than in hs? Oh gosh, everything. I was working out and took care of my body, lost weight, styled my hair, started wearing makeup, got a better wardrobe. If you saw me now versus high school I am unrecognizable. Were you discouraged from pursuing feminine beauty in hs? Or was it a more internal motivation in that you found such goals superficial? I was never discouraged from it, just never took an interest in it. I did find it superficial at the time but I r…

I don't see how incels can't "clean up"...there are plenty of resources out there for anyone to clean up- male or female. However you do have to put in the time, energy and money into it. There are also plenty of resources out there for men to learn game. The idea that incels can't "clean up" is absurd, and it's an excuse for laziness on their end. Well I didn't get laid. So there is that.

There may be more story behind that, if you are willing to share... It's a bit of a long story but you know how it ends - dating life and life in general improved dramatically. People really don't realize how life is different life is when you are unattractive vs. attractive. You get treated better, opportunities appear, life goes by smoothly. Can female 4ish have it that bad (as per your rejections by those nerds)? So, do you think there is some kind of a cut-off atractiveness for women? Just a…

But what if I hadn't "cleaned up"? What if I stated the same? I probably would have endured more years of solitude into my 20's. Maybe Tinder would have changed the game but that didn't become big until 2013/2014ish. Also wtf is a "looksmatch"?

Even with the favorable outcome for females versus males there still have to be women out there not seeing any results. I never would have expected that women got the upper hand in that situation though. How did that even happen?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/18 12:24 AM

The fact that there are almost no female incels is a statement about the present day. I highly doubt that. I'm sure there are female incels still lurking around somewhere. I don't think the Tinder advantage wiped out all of them. Even if we take in everything from your prospective as you present them, your experience is of the past. Who cares if it's the past? It's still relevant and it happened.

The main problem that many male and female incels face is that they are entitled and unrealistic about their situation. I was talking about incels with unrealistic expectations. I had realistic expectations regarding dating yet I was unsuccessful. Male Incels – their main problem is that their ability to sleep with women is tied to their manhood. That is something I forgot to mention as well, that social skills and communication skills are a must have for trying to approach women.

If you've ever seen The Matrix then you would understand the concept of "red pill", which is where the term came from. Red pill essentially means unplugging from ideologies, freeing your mind and becoming "awakened". Unfortunately the manosphere adopted the pill and completely perverted the meaning. It went from being about freeing your mind and accepting reality to this warped sense of manhood. It's meant to be a mental, emotional and spiritual state of being instead of getting hung up on gende…

Then what is with the big show they put on about traditional values? Especially your red pillers who support conservative Christianity? Seems like they just cherry picked the parts of the bible that are patriarchal in nature.

Right because past choices are an indicator of future behaviors. Makes sense in terms of dating choices but not life. The problem with screening in dating is that its necessary but not always 100% effective, especially if you don't have access to most of the other persons past information. Or there are rumors and falsehoods surrounding someone's past choices. That's the gamble you take entering in any relationship though. I'd say my own screening process has been effective. I've had good results…

To be honest I'm glad to see the decline of the romance novel genre. Most of it is poorly written, and caters to young, immature, naive women. It's the equivalent of watching some reality show drivel like The Bachelor - a complete insult to art. "Red pill women are very interested in what the traditional romance novel represents". If you want to get into semantics about what the term "girlfriend" means fine. You have a point about opportunity cost, and it's a risk factor for both parties involved. The point I was trying to make is that there are people out there who are not upfront about their intentions when entering a relationship- this involves pretending to care about the other person when they never did. I lay out my goals of the relationship in that I want nothing serious, it is on her too accept or decline. But at what point do you do that? Upfront or after you've gotten what yoive wanted? "You seem to be fixated on a false dichotomy of either single OR married. Relationships are not that black and white." For many people out there marriage IS the end goal. Feminists, "career women", "smart women", all have low levels of agreeableness, which is required to be successful in business. This. I am with you 100% on that. I'm just saying that certain people misunderstand tough love as "hate" and get triggered over it. Sensitive types struggle with this.
