Women always controlled the narrative because of the male drive to please her to earn her favor. Things just got just more lopsided lately.

You need to check your comprehension. I stated the role of women clearly in the earlier comments. I basically said that it's the leftists who are having a hard time accepting the findings of this study since they don't want to believe that women might be responsible for enforcing the main characteristic of which they term as 'toxic masculinity' I didn't bring up the blank slate theory to discredit men and women's behavior differences. The leftists in the jp sub did. That's a different matter ent…

I would like to ask the same thing to you... Are you on drugs? My point was only that the leftists are the ones critical of this study since this study in part removes the blame of enforcement of 'toxic masculinity' from men. Conservatives, centrists, anyone reasonable wont take the blank slate theory seriously. Only hardcore leftists do. That's the other reason why I said the opposition was from leftists. Also leftists are the ones pontificating to men asking them to open their feelings and all…

What kind of logic is this. Blank slate is scientifically proven to be pseudoscience, there is nothing of value in that theory. You stated that the negative reactions against this articles came from "leftists", despite the fact that the people who have negative views of this article are people expressing very strict and rigid views of gender roles. It's basically some kind of your weird theory that right wingers would be against the findings of the study. I basically said that it's the leftists …

The idea of blank slate is psedoscientific trite which had been entertained for much longer than necessary just like homeopathy.

The leftists are the ones who still believes in the blank slate theory that all of behaviours are due to social factors. Yes, it's the leftists. There was a concerted attempt from chapo and other leftist subs to take over r/JordanPeterson. On conservative glorification of male gender roles Why can't people put it in perspective with the other choice we have. It's better for a man to sacrifice being glorified, than to sacrifice while never being acknowledged. The conservative system is inherently…

It's interesting to note that this study is widely accepted by the psychology community, since it was obvious in the field of psychology for long that humans aren't as near as rational as we would like to think. That humans can say one thing and do the opposite without even realizing. Ironically it hadn't been well recieved on the r/JordanPeterson subreddit which probably is because of the leftists trying to take over the sub like they're trying to do with r/libertarian .

This study was commissioned by The Movember Foundation and conducted by research firm Ipsos MORI, the study surveyed 4,000 men across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia about their perceptions of masculinity and expressing emotions. You can read the full study as a pdf here.

There's nothing wrong, but don't expect women to like them.

Ada Lovelace, Heidi Lamar etc are basically a circlejerk. They are overrated bacause of it. Marie Curie on the other hand deserves all the praise.

Meanwhile IT You don't get dates because you're socially inept. You don't get dates because women can smell your misogyny. You don't get dates since you don't shower.

Just shower 6 times a day and women will notice.

I've did some math, It seems like I'm not way off mark. According to the calculation, men are 66% of victims of dv accounting for both reciprocal and non reciprocal. If somebody here could confirm, it'd be great.

I've did some math and I found that 66% of the victims are male. When accounted for both reciprocal and non reciprocal statistics. Or is it simply 60%

I wholeheartedly agree with the idea that we need to break the negative cycles. But, what I said... That it's only the men who do such selfless acts of valour, is a true fact. I don't know if we should prevent saying that to make women feel better about themselves. For me, this is basically 'credit where it is due'.

We were forced to do this. Men had been told for long, throught his childhood that women were better than them. This is just about disproving that. You can find thousands of videos just like this, of Men risking their lives to protect others. But I don't think you can find even a handful of women doing the same.
