I'm not talking moral relativism here, but a bilateral view. Consider this: the courts, during the divorce proceedings, don't care if the wife has cheated and the man still gets wrecked. Cheating is not a crime in most nations. Can we then still look to general values that we receive from others, for our moral compass? I think bilateral agreements is all that we have left.
