You weren't banned for "cold approaching", you were banned for being a creep I think it's pretty safe to say that no woman wants to be approached by a man hanging out in the women's clothing section who offers to help them pick an outfit The fact that you did this over a 2 week period is probably the nail in the coffin, you've gotta go somewhere that people are open to being interacted with, not just wherever they are

I think she means that all these sanctions only serve to hurt the regular citizens who really have no say in what their government does while the people at the top have the resources to weather the disruption Why are people demonizing the people who are just trying to survive because of their geographic location?

I dunno, I really think that depends on the people involved. Sometimes people are nervous at first and nerves are bad for conversation, starting on some easy common ground can mitigate that, and then allows people to let their guard down further

A movie can be really good if used correctly it shouldn't be used in isolation, but as a starting point. After the movie you move onto drinks or dinner. The movie immediately serves as an ice breaker and then conversation can flow from there
