8	"Never hit a woman." Yeah, it's an unfortunate aspect of our culture that needs to be resolved. Imagine you're out with a woman, and you say something smart that strikes a nerve in her, and she slaps you. People will look and maybe "ooh" under their breath, and may even find it funny, but won't intervene. If you were to do the same, or even return fire with a slap, people of all genders shapes colors and ages would be lunging on you and yelling. 0	Why do men tend to have a more varied taste in the opposite sex? well "actual dad bods" are muscular with some fat on top, not just a pudgy guy with no muscle tone. It's not like I'm using the urban dictionary, it's clearly a word that is in multiple dictionaries. 8	Dating from the average straight man’s perspective. I've found the same thing. Looking for happiness in somebody else is never fruitful. If you're truly happy and confident in yourself and know who you are and your values without seeking outside validation, that will radiate and someone may take interest.
