It's always concerning when someone is obsessed with degrees like this. It's one thing to refer to college a lot because it was a big part of your life, but it's another thing to act like degrees are titles of nobility. People who try to claim authority on the basis of a degree alone tend to be the most unreasonable, sheepish sort of person. I think part of the problem is that we consider titles valuable in themselves instead of recognizing that it's up to people to give their titles value.

A black drug dealer who spends every cent he has on worthless crap to look richer than he actually is. Exactly that.

The majority of women are told "No, that's stupid" very few times in their lives. Nearly everything they have is just given to them. It's not hard to see why they'd be like this. Combine that with the fact that women will unionize and say "She's a queen she deserves a Ferrari. If you can't give a queen that, you ain't shit", and a general unawareness of money so you don't know how few people can afford a Ferrari and how few are dumb enough to waste money on one, and it's not hard to picture. It'…

Why the exact height of 6'3" though? Is that the exact height of her ex? Is that an inch taller than her than her friends' boyfriends? Does she think it's better to not say "6'+" because that comes across as too superficial? Does she think she's haggling and wants to high ball a bit so that she can "compromise" for a mere 6'1" guy?

Mmmmmm. A massive list of demands I need to fulfill for an old, not particularly good looking woman who's going to treat me like a servant. Now THAT'S a relationship I could go for.

The ginger thing is what confuses me the most, and I'm not a ginger. Why do they get so much shit? Lighter, rarer hair colors are generally preferred.

I think this guy needs to expand on his theory, because I'm unconvinced. I think a woman would instantly understand that making $50k is worth more than a couple of house chores if she were the one who made $50k.

It's not unfortunate. Men are allowed to have requirements and preferences. The only person who it's unfortunate for is her, and she's had plenty more fortune to lose than the guys.

I honestly appreciate the fact that she at least attempted to list things that she offers. It's much better than the typical shopping list of demands while still acting like she's the prize who's entitled to giga-Chad.

It's funny how we get accused of hating all women for the actions of a minority (which is the opposite, we dislike some women because of the actions of most women); yet so many women (like this one) will meet a single soccer player, piano player, or hyundai driver, and swear that they're all evil.

I'd honestly bet that this is heavy revisionism. It was only in her late 20's or early 30's that she had serious notions of marriage or "finding the one" and going through the usual process of raising your standards because you're looking for a husband despite being in your 30's and having less to offer, she wasted her 30's. And by then she had completely rewritten events in her mind so that she was looking for "the one." The way her title is worded: "Pity me!" and "It's everyone else's fault bu…

Women have an incredibly distorted idea of what an average girl is. An average girl is still a healthy weight, but her body is unimpressive, and her facial structure is a bit odd. They'll point to a man's disgust at a fat, bald, unshaven, problem-glasses wearing "girl" and say "See! This is proof that their standards are too high. They won't settle for a normal girl. They all want skinny blonde girls with perfect skin and bodies sculpted by an artist." The truth is that there are hundreds of mil…

Stop for a moment and really contemplate being married to this person. Imagine waking up every day next to this person. Imagine doing things with this person whether it's as serious as making a budget or choosing which house and car to buy or as small as deciding what to have for dinner. Imagine going through this until the day you die. Imagine after decades of stress, you're an old man and you realize how much you sacrificed... for the sake of some used up 35 year old.

This tactic of denying reality and acting like work/self-improvement can solve absolutely every problem is disastrous to the psyche of its victims. It's basically shaming people for not having delusion of grandeur.

I'm glad that you weren't attacking them. I was just worried that it sets a bad tone to call generic children "crotch goblins," and it might be rude to some of the guys here who were raised by single mothers.

I'd definitely say that it's in their nature to expect things to come from others, since a woman would have to be dependent on others for things while pregnant in pre-modern times; but there's a fine line between instinctively relying on manipulating or bargaining with middlemen and deflecting all of one's problems. It goes from being constructive and helpful to oneself to actively sabotaging oneself on all levels. I wouldn't say that they blame and shame men for everything by their nature, but …

There are still a lot of women who are unattractive due to their self-destructive behavior who don't get much attention. And even if they do get attention from desperate men, they're not going to be instantly catching some stud's eye like a pretty girl would. The problem is that we've programmed women from a young age into blaming and shaming men for any negatives they have; so as a naturally pretty girl's looks start to fade, she just doubles down and blames men instead of fixing her diet. It's…

Since the OP's name is "failed Austrian Artist," I thought it was funny to read. "I was raised Jewish, quite Jewish, really. Conservative, sleepaway camp, Bat Mitzvah, read/write/speak Hebrew kind of Jewish. My grandparents kept Kosher, my favorite family memories are Shabbat dinners at their house. I knew what we were, and what we were not. What we did, and what we did not do. One of the things we did not do was Christmas."

They don't think like that. The proportion of their demands stays the same, so the ones making six figures will want someone making seven figures.

They don't get the same pressure men do "You have to do things right otherwise you'll be living under a bridge!" Women very rarely have to face consequences for their actions, so they don't take life as seriously. If there weren't endless legions of simps and a gynocentric welfare state, they'd have a reason to care about choosing a good partner.

Men would love a free gf. These women would reject a state mandated BF. They'd demand a bureaucracy of social worker-like people, but they're all the top 1% of men and their job is to date burnt out spinsters while collecting their paycheck from taxes imposed on the undateable, subhuman men who weren't confident enough to be 6'2."

It might be perspective or some form of bias, but my family has always gotten by on modestly priced sedans. Some were dirt cheap, the most expensive was somewhere around $13k. I don't understand these people who will drop an extra 15 grand on a car that's hardly different from a cheaper alternative. Even with trucks, which by their nature cost more than sedans, I see people buy these vehicles that cost as much as a house instead of a used, functional truck. I understand that better is better, bu…

Apparently the older woman told her that guys like me were a dime a dozen and she should have fun with her youth by expierancing as many men as possible. The way women will sabotage each other like this is really messed up. With men, it's easy to differentiate a hater and someone who wants to help; but women will sabotage each other with stuff like this. It's a weird contrast to the fact that women are superficially much better at female-solidarity than men.

I wonder how many women who post to niceguys end up needing someone nice to help pay for their mistakes. 100%. There is not a woman alive who doesn't mooch off of men. The anti "nice guy" thing is just them feeling entitled to other people's support, so they get furious when you suggest that they actually offer anything. They're spoiled enough to believe that they're entitled to constant good treatment even if they're a massive bitch to everyone.

In time, you will come to know things that you didn't know existed. This does not make you broken. Man only knows what he has come to know, and we are all ignorant of many things. I couldn't blame ignorance in this case anymore than an angel could blame a dead man for not knowing about some spiritual battle for his soul that was taking place all through his life. Our capacity to know things is limited by perception, reason, and intuition. If women have none of these things pointing them towards …

I would disagree about her having to already be broken. You're underestimating just how much men are kicked around, humiliated, and steered like cattle. Many men break under this, so it shouldn't be surprising that a woman would. Slums are ugly to everyone, but some people have familiarity, and some are even used to them, but some people have lived their whole lives in an elysium and are shocked that the slum even exists. Rather than being an eyesore, an unpleasant place to be avoided, just the …

Imagine the inverse. What would happen if broke, unemployed men started shaming women as insecure because they didn't want a broke, unemployed boyfriend. The way this "real man" shaming is able to turn normal standards into a one-way street where women can do whatever and any non-perfect man is a loser is quite incredible.
