No, it's normal. By mediocre diet I mean that I eat more junk food than healthy food. What I'm saying is my caloric intake is fine for my body but what my diet consists of could be improved upon. I just didn't express that properly in my original post I guess!

Not to be rude but is it really that hard to stay a normal bmi? I'm 26, 5'2, and 115lbs. Never had issues with weight, even if my diet is mediocre. I've only recently started working out for strength. I feel bad for thinking this way, but I feel angry when I take a look around to see I'm the outlier when it comes to healthy weight. My metabolism is normal as well. I understand people go through shit but I highly doubt over 70% of the population can blame external factors for their weight problem…

To each their own! I have oily skin so stuff kinda looks bad after a few hours on my face. I don't know how to explain it but I feel very.... restricted and like my face can't "breathe" (I know it doesn't make sense but I think it stems from my cystic acne and fear of anything [including hair] touching my face). Wish I COULD wear it sometimes but I'm a ball of shine after an hour or two :D

So many people DO wear glasses, it's wild! Glasses get annoying for sure (and I've not too much against contacts) but they can be expensive, bleh. And makeup gets in the way, honestly. Quite annoying to be doing day to day tasks and having to take yourself out of the moment to make sure BB cream/foundation hasn't smudged or oxidized, that your face hasn't oiled and smudged eye makeup, that laughing and tearing slightly has dribbled your eyeliner, or that your latest meal has smeared your lip stu…

Dudes don't really care about eyebrows. Only comments I got when I stopped doing mine were from women (not in a negative manner). Hers seem mostly done though. Wouldn't change much if anything if she did :D

I would agree! And it can be fixed I'm sure. I play a lot of online video games and am around a group of people that is 95% men. I have noticed on a few occasions that I speak to most women differently than I do men. Insults, shit talking, and messing around run rampant in my discord chats while gaming, while I have to hold back more with my female coworkers. I only know a couple of my female coworkers who I can mess with like I do in discord. Not saying it's a bad thing though, because it isn't…

Uhm. 1) This article is ass. 2) It's about a singular community in East Africa with a completely different culture. 3) This difference does not follow the norms of most species and was unable to be explained by the researchers. 4) You came to your own strange conclusion that has literally nothing to do with the article. 4) I didn't join this subreddit to read ass articles like this. Did you read the article?

I think the annoying part is that the initial reaction upvotes are sometimes always higher (and sometimes extraordinarily so) on things linked to the subreddit. To the internet in general but what happens is that people will just see the post, upvote, get angry, snuggle further into their beliefs, and carry on...all the while the correct information is just a scroll and a click away. At least a small portion of us actually do explore the comments and try and do a little research, notice we were …

She had on her bio the purpose of her asking for dick pics. So that's why the messages between her and the men seem so abrupt. Because the men who message her already know her bio info, and she just gets to the point. Seems fair, because I'm sure …

Should have done your research. She was up front on all of it. Asked for them to be used in her art project. They consented. Strange art project, sure, but nothing was taken without permission.

Exactly my thoughts. Note the smaller sentence towards the bottom: "to ensure families like Jessica's are educated and supported..." This poster is simply highlighting a fact that many people may overlook-- that if you're looking for breast cancer risk, you can't just look at matrilineage. "Father" is simply emphasized. There is no sense of blaming here to me. Relax guys, not everything is an attack.

I'm sort of on the same side as you. The only time I orgasm from PIV is if the clit is being stimulated. It embarrasses me that I'm so on the fence about whether penetration only can make a woman orgasm because I read so many conflicting opinions, and the fact that I'm a female and don't know fully know something about my own body. But from MY experience, I think all orgasms are from clitoral stimulation of some kind. The clitoris is like an iceberg. A pure clitoral orgasm is achieved from the t…

Well, yes, but I mean specifically. From extreme feminists who have grudges against men? Certain subreddits? Your single female friends? If I were asked where I'd want to meet a SO I wouldn't say any of these places except work or school or through a mutual hobby. I feel like most women would say this. But that doesn't mean I (or other women) would deny people from the other places you listed above. It's just that places like grocery stores, sometimes the gym, concerts, bars, and clubs tend not …

Gym: They just probably feel self conscious about being approached when they're sweaty, stinky, red-faced, and out of breath. Get by that barrier and I don't see how it will be an issue, especially if you see her there a lot. Grocery store: Really not an optimal place unless you meet them there all the time and decide to strike a conversation several times. Grocery store visits usually aren't long and most people probably have somewhere to be afterwards. Also: perishables and long drives home. B…

He'd have to be awfully dense to misread signals when we're both teasing. Hasn't happened yet. If it does, it's as simple as saying a couple words. It's not like he's going to rape me, jesus...

Not really. I actually trust the man in my life, and he trusts me. Sarcasm, idioms, playful defiance, exaggerations, etc. The English language is full of ways to say things that aren't meant to be taken literally. I'm not claiming I speak for people. I just don't think that we need to take words literally all the time. Maybe this playful stuff between my S/O is weird to you, but I don't I'm the only one. Learning this stuff comes with a certain understanding of human interaction and is understoo…

You're in a really deep hole if you think that example is going to be used as an example of sexism and to justify a victim narrative.

"No" can be playful. Sometimes I defiantly say no when my bf is trying to sexually work me up and he knows I don't mean it. It's like non verbally saying "no! I will not succumb to this teasing! You can't make me! Pft! This isn't affecting me in the slightest" all the while it visibly is and he has the most smug look on his face. It's just a playful thing. He knows when I REALLY mean no though. When I don't want it, I tell him. Boom, no more advancements. He understood body language and other cu…

If you aren't a paranoid man-hating female, you tend to feel safer with men around in certain situations. For example, one time I was at work and left my cash register to put back some cold reshop since the store was slow. I was back at the meat department and unfortunately ran into one of my "stalkers." This guy has shown some very unsettling signs and I really don't feel comfortable around him. He kept trying to make physical contact while talking to me, touching my back, asking me why I had a…

I like basing what "attractive and fertile" is as what happens to a healthy body after puberty. It doesn't explain everything but it gives me a start. Beards, pubes, and body hair. All three (on males and females) are visual markers to the opposite sex that they are mature adults. Women are hairier than you think they are, trust me. This can vary by race. If a woman has a beard or chest hair then that's a sign hormones are off but if she has pit hair, leg hair, even a unibrow or light mustache t…

Think of wild animals. They kind of run on instinct. They eat, sleep, shit, and mate. They are programmed to want to flaunt their sexual availability and health in various ways. It's how they survive as a species. They can't really think about why they do this. They just do it. Think of humans. We still run on these blueprints called "instinct" (but more loosely). Females of our species still wish to flaunt and be desired. We doll up, do our hair, flaunt our curves. Males wish to find beautiful,…

Are these upper class snobby bitches who have probably never been under any sort of pressure in their life really the type of people you want to use an an example? I'd hope not. I bet they cry when their makeup smudges and refuse to go outside if it's raining or their face will fall off. They're used to getting what they want, of course they're shitty with being under any sort of pressure, lol

The reverse image would be just as perverse imo. However, I think this version is more "acceptable" (I use that term loosely) because there is sometimes a sort of mentality with dads like this who encourage or root for their prepubescent boys while interacting with hot women. "Atta boy!"
