It will sound odd, but have you considered boxing or brazilian jujitsu its hard at the start but if you let your limits be pushed you will gain confidence. If you are already fit it will be easier also after a while you will walk aroumd knowing you can handle even a violent altercation with ease so nothing else is even gonna register as stress.
