| 2 | 50/50 custody and child supportI'm in NY. I have 50/50 custody but she stopped working so I got destroyed on alimony and child support. No helping that. The one thing I would recommend, based on your state, are the rules regarding residential custody. Even though I am 50/50 custody. The ex was awarded residential custody and I lost a lot of my rights because of that.
