i find a good paradigm shift for anyone (not just ex-red pillers) is to focus more on what you can give to others as opposed to what you can get from them. and giving without the expectance of reciprocity. that is what true love is, and once you release yourself from expecting anything back, you free yourself to give from a position of abundance instead of scarcity.

I'd like to add my two cents...I was in a 9 year relationship with the person I lost my virginity to. We just fought way too much, went for counselling, but in the end, we just were not happy living together so we broke up. We remained friends and though he went on after a 6 month period to date a girl who he just moved in with (she seems nice), and they are working toward a future together, I ended up in a series of "FWB" type relationships (though not MY preference).
