Wow, that's way out there! Haha 😂 I had a similar thing happen to me when I was selling shoes/heels online. A guy hit me up, I assumed he was buying for a girlfriend. Arranged to meet at a public place and right before I left he asked me if I would wear them there, so he could "see how I looked in them." Fucking creeps.

I don't know why this reminded me, well I guess I do. But my (early 20s) abusive ex (early 40s) would attempt to make me jealous about the women that were 'friends' in his life. Because they were in their 40s they were in their prime, and I wasn't because I was in my 20s? According to his words . I seriously cant believe I felt inferior because of something so silly. Just a fat sack of manipulation.

My absuive nex told me this in the infancy of our relationship. Smh... should have listened. Could have saved myself so, so much pain.

I can't believe that there are others out there who think like this as well! My (n)ex used to say that checking out other women is like checking out your friend's sports car, "you think about taking it for a spin". I swear I'm going to be single for the entirety of my life at this point.

Absolutely!!! I absolutely do this. I had lost 75lbs and gained 60 back. It's insane how differently I am treated at various weights. I have no intention on dating at this higher weight - but more importantly I feel it holds me back from so many opportunities in life. Just nice to not be alone on this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
