I've gotten involved with a couple singles groups. We get together for all kinds of activities. Dancing, picnics, movie nights, concerts. I also picked a coffee shop and a bar to hang out and just became a regular making new friends. I get too busy at times.

Just take the cheapest way out. Let your rational mind work not your emotions. You can rebuild, and dont marry again.

Sounds like she has put in the work to turn herself around. You have to decide if you two still love each other. 24 years is a lot of work. My wife and I separated after 35 years 3 years ago and still live close to each other. Never divorced. We still go out together and enjoy each others company, but we both like having our own space.

It takes time, its not easy at first. Focus on yourself and let the wounds heal. It took me awhile to keep movin on. But it does get better. You're gonna make it!

I stayed, mine were almost grown. Got my youngest in college before everything blew up.

Dont give in to apathy. Spit in lifes eye and refuse to go down. Let the anger turn into something else. Go out and just do something, anything that reminds you that you are alive. Its not easy, but its doable. You will find yourself moving on from there.

One mans hobby is another mans work. Some times its best to keep friends at arms length for your own piece of mind. A bed warmer is nice to have, but don't give your heart away. I understand the feeling, been going through it myself. Cant cut yourself off completely though, you get lost in your own thoughts. That's not good for YOU. Good luck buddy.

I gave her 35 years. I could never do that again myself. Good luck buddy.

Sorry buddy, you were a means to her end. Women are great at pretending till they get what they want. She used you up. She has no need for you anymore. Yes women really are that self centered. Work on you now and never give your heart away again.

Depending on the company, HVAC can be an on call 24/7/365 kind of job. You need to be prepared for that.

3 years out for me too, after 35 years together. Not a day goes by without me thinking of her. Fortunately my kids are grown, but starting over at 65 sucks. I doubt that wound will heal in whats left of my years. Her last words as she left were "it is what it is", well I recon so. Good luck bro.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
