In your hypothetical, if it's still possible for sex to be nonconsensual? Then you're still going to have a lot of the same issues. "That barista was really nice to me, I'm asking her to my place." "What do you mean, no?! Sex is just like a handshake, bitch. You don't just say no. It's fucking rude!"

Hi. I just saw this post in my feed. I'm a man. I don't want to be sexualized. Thank you.

When I read women who choose the bear, they suggest that a man who happens to be in the woods could be there on purpose to ambush women, in which case "unarmed, unplanned" would not be the reality.

As a married person, my answer is: I have always found The Matrix film overrated and pretentious. The idea that an internet culture has formed around one of its scenes? That FASCINATES me.

And also, The Matrix isn't a great film.

Sure they exist. Don't friendships also exist between hetero males and gay males? I had a few gay friends in college (before I started a family and sort of phased out my friendships), but also I never really had deep friendships with anyone. I don't know. If you looked at people like me, you might conclude, "Guys are less likely to have a lot of friendships." Maybe if you look at other guys you could conclude, "Guys don't like being hit on by people they aren't interested in, and are more aggres…

(shrug) I'm not close friends with really anyone outside my family, so I can only speculate. Find an answer for why hetero women are less likely to be good friends with hetero men, and it's probably similar to why hetero men don't want to be good friends with gay men. Maybe the problem is men themselves. For the scenario, it's 100% men involved!

Well, I've also heard that (hetero) men can't be friends with (hetero) women without one of them wanting to take the relationship further. I'm sure that's an exaggeration, but the mentality exists. And if there are women who don't want friendships with straight men because of that, I can understand uninterested men not wanting friendships with gay men.

"If a woman gets the idea in her head that she can just choose who she wants to marry, then will it ruin her?" OP, are you a human?

Funny thing about The Matrix: the world of the blue pill was true in the times before the film. And the goal of the heroes was to unmake the world revealed by the red pill, so that the world of the blue pill would be reality again.

I find it fascinating that this whole internet ideology was named for a silly scene in The Matrix.

Don't let the reddit atmosphere deter you. My wife and I were both virgins when we married; I'm still convinced that has added a layer in appreciating each other.

Is it common in your social circles for women to "pass around" a man to each other? EDIT: Oh, it's sarcasm! Wooosh to me.

I can't speak for other men, but... I'm pretty antisocial in terms of friends. I'm blessed with a loving wife and a close family, and that's really the only human interaction I desire. But if I didn't have a loving wife or family? I'm not sure anything from friendships would come close to fulfilling my wants in this sector. But maybe I'm not typical. Most guys have friends and want them, I think? EDIT: By the way, I think the OP is wrong. My wife and our female friends don't seem to act this way…

He made her wet by being helpless. She taught him how to be a man, didn't she? She crafted him exactly into what she wanted. And he simped hard.

Maybe. But ironically, wouldn't you say Neo friendzoned his way into a relationship with Trinity? She was the expert in authority. He bumbled his way into the organization. Somehow Trinity gravitated toward him instead of the more confident, experienced men instead. She initiated everything because a fortune teller said she would love him. She kind of taught him what his role was. And in the end, he gets everything mostly through fate/destiny and the woman choosing him - rather than through any …

My gosh... thank you, and take my upvote for providing very relevant links. That community info on the first link is quite a trip. "STFU!!" "Lift weights!" "Don't fail the shit tests!" :D

I take it you're not with this girl, and it's not going to happen? You're not compatible? If so, then... look, I get it. But you don't have to betray your love to move on, and allow her to move on. You hopefully love your parents and family. If you're particularly blessed, there might be a few friends you love also. Love isn't always romance; it takes different forms. You can love this woman until the day you die, but maybe that means letting her live her life... while also making yourself atten…

For a split second, I thought this was slang for "look for a marriage partner, not a series of dating hookups".
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 01:39 PM

Guys. The Matrix wasn't that great of a film.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 03:51 AM

FYI I have used this before when I want the answer to be NO. It's similar to, "Ask your mother."

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
