That's very interesting. If you don't mind my asking, what were your reasons for wanting to be a girl at that age? And was there anything in particular that made those feelings go away?

It doesn't make much sense. He's talking about how the sentence structure flows. Those terms are from prose/poetry writing.

Let me guess, you're cut, looked into restoration, weren't satisfied that it couldn't be exactly what was taken from you, and decided not to restore? Gliding action alone is worth the effort, let alone skin to play with and a dekeratinised glans. Don't let perfect stand in the way of good enough

www.sexasnatureintendedit.com There's a thing called foreskin restoration. Anecodotal accounts I've read from people who were cut & restored in adulthood say that on a 10 scale it's like: Sex with foreskin: 11 Sex as a circumcised male: 3 Sex as a restored male: 7

I can't post the facebook link here due to sub rules, but you are not alone! Lookup "Intact Florida" on facebook Also, the father is worthless in this fight. We need power in numbers to convince the HOSPITAL that this is a horribly unethical surgery Anyone interested in helping Chase out in any way possible, even if you don't live close, can go here for more info: http://www.np.reddit.com/r/Intactivists/comments/395msk/chase_case_update_last_chance_to_help_he_is_set/

Swing by then! I've heard by now that the doctor himself is not going to listen to reason, but the hospital will, so the more out there the better. I'm betting it's going to be a pretty big deal there today and tomorrow

Anyone interested in helping the boy get his wish and save his foreskin (yes the boy himself does not consent to the procedure...) please join us in a letter writing campaign to inform urologists across the country what an ethical tar pit taking this child on as a patient would be.

I have no idea how to do what you're saying. I know how to do what I'm saying and it's been proven to work in the entire state where the boy lives. Where I can be of service is exactly how I am being of service. If you can do what you're talking about, then please do. It's not like I'm involved with the family or their lawyer or can just tell them "hey try this, I read it would work online." And the only reason she consented was that the court ruled the dad didn't need her consent to have the su…

This article left some key points out. The father was granted the ability to single handedly control the boys medical decisions yesterday. She was staying in jail indefinitely to stand up for what she believes in, and the judge made her consent worthless to stop the procedure. It was only then that she "consented" because her lack of consent was only serving to keep her in jail... The woman's a saint

That's exactly the point. We need to let them know what a bad idea on multiple levels it would be for them to perform this surgery. Maybe they haven't heard the boy doesn't want the surgery. Maybe they haven't heard what pr nightmare they'd be stepping into by taking him on as a patient. If we don't reach them with letters in time, they may still be commuting career suicide, but it won't help the boy. We need them informed by the time the father calls up their office.

I'm sure she'll have her day, but for right now the most important thing is helping her accomplish the whole reason she ended up like this by protecting her son, so that her effort was not in vain. 90 days is enough for either side of this argument to come out with their desires fulfilled, I'm just hoping people read this and take it to heart. It's not the most difficult thing, just copy/paste in an email or print, fill in your specific details and Google a urologist in your area. It's not that …

The boy is too old. For a surgery like this he now needs general anesthesia. Newborns aren't so lucky as to need to be put under... strange how they can be old enough for a surgery but not old enough for the level of numbness we feel is sufficient for performing that surgery, but at the boy's age now (4.5) everyone agrees it would hurt badly enough to require general anesthesia, and urologists and pediatric urologists are the only ones who can give Chase that type of procedure.

EXAMPLE TEMPLATE (Feel free to copy, paste, and amend as desired): To [INSERT DOCTOR’S TITLE AND NAME]: I have great concern for a young child named Chase Nebus-Hironimus regarding the matter of his forced circumcision. Hon. Judge Jeffery Dana Gillen has ruled that Chase may be circumcised per a prior parental agreement made when he was a baby. I believe the agreement is irrelevant now that Chase is 4.5 years old — old enough that he has verbalized he does NOT want to be circumcised. Unfortunate…

It is more likely to have the frenulum completely destroyed than not. You and your son are lucky, not the norm. Try not to use your narrow experience as evidence of a greater truth. That's chicken little bullshit

If the boy dies, he'll simply be collateral damage of a broken legal system that treats the sexes differently and puts human rights in the jurisdiction of individual interpretation

Honestly, if they f*cking cut this kid, we deserve a lot of criticism. It shouldn't have to come to this, an outreach for support. I think we need to take a good hard look at the legal system that's let it get this far in the first place, and beliefs that legal system is built upon.

Florida. There's a lot of bias going on in the case from nearly every direction. I'm no stranger to the debate on circumcision, but I'd like to think that as soon as a kid can speak up for themself, we could agree to listen. I happen to be of the opinion that we should wait long enough to ask each kid, but now I'm in controversial territory apparently haha. That's the thing with circumcision, it's very personal, and everyone has an opinion. Why we can't agree to say then that the owner of the pe…

The doctor who'll likely be contacted is aware of the boys wishes as Im thinking they'd just go with Dr. Flack who's already looked into this issue and spoke at the case. He himself said under oath there's no medical necessity to cut the boy. I doubt he's thought about the repercussions of getting sued later on, but that's a great idea, to let doctors know this is a hot button case they want to stay far away from.

I couldn't agree more, this kid is 4 years old for chrissakes and he's caught in legal battle over the fate of his penis, even after he chimed in an opinion of his own on the topic. It really does make me sick. It's just a disaster of a situation on the cusp of coming to a rotten conclusion and this kid could use all the help he can get. Thanks for your support

Don't worry about that method then, there are plenty of ways to help: Write/Call your local lawmakers, or the Judge who ruled on the case and let them know what you think about their actions. Remember to be nice, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Donate to the non-profit C.H.A.S.E. to help this kid get some legal defense. Tweet to celebrities who might take the cause on as their own and reach a larger audience than you or I alone could. Here's a list of male celebrities and famous pe…

No one knows why the judge is doing this, that's kind of the point. The parents signed an agreement and it included circumcision of the boy but the topic didn't come up between them until the boy was 3 and now after legal proceedings, 4, when he has a voice of his own. The mom realized that circumcision was not something she wanted for the boy after signing the contract, so in my opinion, go ahead and sue her for breach of contract, but let's make it known that the kid has a say over what happen…

But not cutting sons has been the trendy thing to do for at least 5 years now and is gaining more and more steam. By the time you have a kid, should he be a son, it's likely that he would be the weird one with the circumcision. So your positive, for him, turns into a negative. It's a different world he'll grow up in and he'll be in different locker rooms than you were. Would you really want to give him the internal fears you're thankful of not having to live with growing up, feeling weird, alone…

I'd like to answer your question, but I have a question for you first- what value could possibly be derived by you or your potential son if your two penises resembled each other's?

Thank you, that's an awesome gesture. Last I checked he's gotten 300+ more signatures than he had early this morning and actions like yours will keep em coming, so I appreciate it very much

Just to put this out their for everyone who's going this route, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. A thoughtful letter detailing why you find this decision wrong is more powerful and more likely to actually help the kid than an angry/incoherent phone call would be.
/r/MensRights10/11/14 07:42 PM

You're missing the point. Im saying that the people who signed the contract no longer have the rights they previously agreed to. They don't have to live with the penis; he will, and he says no. It's not up to them to decide
/r/MensRights10/11/14 04:49 PM

Yea, you've got the right idea. Dad wants it, mom doesn't anymore. So sue her for breach of contract, which she certainly did, but leave their son's penis out of the debate is all I'm saying

The cosmetic surgery is attempting to be imposed upon him against his will, as opposed to your example where it is being requested. There's a difference and I'm sorry if you can't see it. In addition, the little girl in your example can simply wait to get her breasts done, whereas this surgery is an amputation of healthy tissue that can never be repaired. There's a difference here too, and I'm sorry if you can't see that either
/r/MensRights10/11/14 04:28 PM

This is cosmetic surgery on his penis we're talking about, not a medical decision he's unable to weigh pros and cons for, and everyone involved can actually agree that it's not medically necessary. At what age would you say it becomes a decision he can make on his own? 5? 7? 13? 18? I'd argue that it's his choice from birth, but Id like to think everyone can agree that as soon as he can speak up for himself he can say what avoidable surgeries he does and does not want happening to his penis

The kid has a voice of his own now. I don't care what the parents signed before, can't we agree that it's his call what happens to his body as soon as he can say "no" to unecessary cosmetic surgery?
