Actor Shia LaBeouf reveals a woman raped him on Valentine's Day during his art show. Sparks debate on male rape by women.I don't pretend to know or understand his reasoning. I just noticed a lot of implications in here that it wasn't "really rape" if he didn't try to fend her off. That's just bullshit. | /r/MensRights | 28/11/14 04:42 AM
Actor Shia LaBeouf reveals a woman raped him on Valentine's Day during his art show. Sparks debate on male rape by women.Someone had sex with him without his consent. Sex without consent is called rape. It really is that simple. Being restrained, resisting, art, whatever... they're all beside the point. | /r/MensRights | 28/11/14 04:26 AM
Actor Shia LaBeouf reveals a woman raped him on Valentine's Day during his art show. Sparks debate on male rape by women.Someone had sex with someone else without that person's consent. That is called rape. How is this difficult to grasp? | /r/MensRights | 28/11/14 04:13 AM
Did some personal research on MR. Posted it to FB and lost a few friends. Thought I'd share.No. Men's Right claims a focus on men. Feminism pretends to not focus on women. I don't care if they're both "pro-equality", I'm talking about their specific focuses. Sure, neither should disagree with the claims of the other. But what feminism claims to be is at odds with its label. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/14 10:22 PM
Did some personal research on MR. Posted it to FB and lost a few friends. Thought I'd share.Good question. My answer is no. Men's Rights activists focus on men's issues. Men's Rights people don't claim to focus on equality across the board. In the same way, I wouldn't say the same thing about women's organizations, because they would focus more specifically won women's issues. I can say it about feminism because it prescribes to be about equality for all, while its name says otherwise. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/14 06:28 PM

Did some personal research on MR. Posted it to FB and lost a few friends. Thought I'd share.Yeah, I pointed out to someone that I didn't see any evidence that he was even remotely related to MRM. I asked them if they could show me some evidence that he was in any way involved in MRM. I was given two pieces of evidence: 1.) The fact that he posted something in a PUA... even though everyone in the PUA community disagreed ith the post and spoke out against him and recommended that he get some help. 2.) The fact that he used the term "alpha male". Because, apparently, that's a phrase only … | /r/MensRights | 26/05/14 05:36 AM
Did some personal research on MR. Posted it to FB and lost a few friends. Thought I'd share.I can't think of any reason, other than stubbornness, that people who identify as feminists don't just identify as egalitarians. It is, literally, the exact same thing, except it has a more accurate label and people will be more open to hearing about it. | /r/MensRights | 26/05/14 02:47 AM
Hi guys, I'm a female redditor and I have to say that I am disgusted about the double standards I've been seeing lately. So basically he had two choices: Don't defend himself. End up in the hospital. Get called a pussy. Defend himself. End up in jail. Get called an abusive asshole. It's a catch 22. | /r/MensRights | 04/09/13 06:48 PM
All men are pedophiles, and it's funny, right?!Why does my post get an "[Unverified]" near it? | /r/MensRights | 09/08/13 12:50 PM
All men are pedophiles, and it's funny, right?!Not that a guy wants to see despicable me, but that he wants to see it so bad he'd pay for it, and make a trip out of it. I just don't get that. Maybe if you're bored and are driving around and see a theatre open? I mean personally... I could make an exception if they're going to make an awesome comic book movie Not everyone has the same interests as you. Not everyone is as cheap as you. Not everyone is as lazy as you. | /r/MensRights | 08/08/13 01:18 PM
All men are pedophiles, and it's funny, right?!I can't believe that this bit of irony slipped by me. | /r/MensRights | 08/08/13 03:05 AM
All men are pedophiles, and it's funny, right?!Well, some movies are just fun no matter how old you are. I would totally go see Despicable Me by myself. | /r/MensRights | 08/08/13 12:09 AM

Girl who cried RapeSo she was raped by a guy who didn't rape her. That makes total sense. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/13 05:13 AM
Girl who cried RapeCool, so make sure to tell women who felt cornered or pressured into having sex that they didn't want, who were too scared to speak up against it, that they weren't really raped, because the guy didn't feel bad about having sex with someone who didn't consent to it. | /r/MensRights | 08/05/13 07:22 PM
Girl who cried RapeActually, that's exactly what rape is. | /r/MensRights | 08/05/13 01:53 PM
Girl who cried RapeThis has absolutely nothing to do with what we're talking about. | /r/MensRights | 28/02/13 06:49 PM
Girl who cried Rape! | /r/MensRights | 28/02/13 03:45 PM
Girl who cried RapeBullshit. If you believe that you're in a situation where consent is ambiguous, then do what you can to make it clear. (See example above.) | /r/MensRights | 28/02/13 03:44 PM
Girl who cried Rape"Do you want to fuck?" "Yeah!" "OK!" Consent is not ambiguous. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/13 09:47 PM
Girl who cried RapeAnd sure, no and then yes means yes. But no and then terrified silence certainly does not equal yes. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/13 06:37 PM
Girl who cried RapeIf the person isn't being an active participant, and all you're looking for is not "failing to refuse to resist", then I wouldn't go as far as to call you a rapist, but I would definitely say that you probably suck in the sack. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/13 06:36 PM
Girl who cried Rapehow the hell is a guy able to read your mind We can't read minds. That's why getting some form of consent is important. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/13 03:45 PM
How a radical feminist views her husband: "...he’s just an alien in the home. He helps out a lot with the kids, which I used to appreciate, but now I realise it’s another form of dominance, of tryingAlmost all intersex babies are male but doctors pretend they’re female. This sentence makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. | /r/MensRights | 03/02/13 02:19 PM
Women can't be sexist?I had the same spcheal from an African American Studies professor who said that Black people can't be racist, because racism is defined as "when a group in power discriminates against a minority group based on race." I told him that the definition of racism that most people use and understand is "discriminating against someone based on race". Also, that's the definition in most dictionaries, too. What people in academia don't seem to understand is that they can't just make up a definition for a … | /r/MensRights | 01/02/13 07:32 PM

| -2 | This is what happens if you are (like me) a bisexual MRA posting to /r/lgbt right now.In a chat room which has rules against sexism, you called somebody a cunt. You deserve the ban. | /r/MensRights | 16/03/12 11:47 AM |
Found this in r/WTF. Sad that is was in that subreddit.Clearly, that's not the way they intended it to come across. But you hear people saying things like "Real men like football!" or "Real men drink Bud!" and shit like that. They just chose a poor way of phrasing it. Maybe something like "Real men get raped, too" would have been better? | /r/MensRights | 29/02/12 03:51 PM
Found this in r/WTF. Sad that is was in that subreddit.Totally not how I read it. It came across as "You're not a real man if you haven't been raped yet!" | /r/MensRights | 29/02/12 02:31 PM

Asking a question for a friendSo since instead of getting a lawyer, because it would cost money, he is now giving away more than half of his paycheck? Sheesh! The best advice is: find a lawyer. Looking at your friend's track record so far, I'd be surprised if he'd really follow good advice. | /r/MensRights | 03/09/11 01:59 PM
Asking a question for a friendWow. He went through a divorce without an attorney?! Seriously?! Why does this guy hate himself so much? | /r/MensRights | 03/09/11 01:38 PM
Morning after regretHa ha ha! You say that my question was "nasty" and a deliberate slur against you... and then you go ahead and, through some twist of logic, say that I think that rapists shouldn't be punished! Thanks for the entertainment! You're a real piece of work! | /r/MensRights | 24/07/11 01:17 PM
Morning after regretAre you seriously asking for an incentive to not rape people? | /r/MensRights | 21/07/11 04:25 PM

My girlfriend says you can't be sexist against men. Please help.I got the same "You can't be racist against white people" argument once. Just tell her that making up her own definition for a word that already has a definition is just stupid. | /r/MensRights | 15/06/11 03:09 AM
