He was not in the right. There is more to the story than what is shown in the video. https://thecomeback.com/ncaa/woman-punched-joe-mixon-said-assault-mixons-sexual-advances.html

Nah, He and his friends were harassing her and her friends. When she left to get out of the situation, he followed her and continued it. Read the story on it, there's more there than what you see in the video.

You were being stupid. If it was a guy coming in looking depressed or anxious, you wouldn't tell him he looks good. Who the hell says that to someone who looks depressed? How about saying something more positive like "Hey, I hope your day gets better" or even ask if they are ok. You might think you were being positive, but what you said was just dumb.

Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you should.

You asked for a reply, I gave one. A dent or scratch would be destruction of property, not obstruction. Nah, even if you do have to appeal, the verbal assault charge would be thrown out eventually. The supreme court ruled on that a while ago, not that they don't change their minds, though. I think if she annoyed them enough, they could make a case for public nuisance. And yes, annoying attention seeking cry baby is definitely a good description for her. Oh, and No, neither Democrat or Republican.

She did not do anything in the video that would have justified any kind of "bitch slap". 2. a. Verbal assault is not a thing, unless you are threatening someone with bodily harm. Legally, you can tell a police officer to go fuck himself in hell and not be arrested. 2.b. She would have to actually damage the cruiser to have any kind of charge against her. "obstruction of government/state property" is what? please explain.

But that wouldn't be defamation. His "music" is the flubberiest of them all, and easily proved - just listen to it.

Not true. He put himself in the middle of an argument that two of the girls were having. And he pushed the girl first, he wasn't defending anyone.

John Oliver actually did a really good show on lethal injections. Since doctors take the Hippocratic oath "First, do no harm" they do not participate on how or the best way to kill someone humanely is. The so-called expert is , I believe, a forensic guy who only had experience on how people died, not how to kill them painlessly.

It's actually quite a bit higher than that, although it is relatively rare - in CA in 2011, 400 were disbarred, in WA in 2013 there were 39. Nationally, over 1000 are disbarred each year, but according to the article I read, most were from not paying dues - an extremely serious offense to the Bar Association. I admit, most complaints result in suspensions or the lawyer is "disciplined" - fined, most likely.

Wait a second - this is a whole bunch of bullshit. The prosecutor had the evidence and didn't disclose it to the defense, at least in the case of Liam, who is the main person in the article. In the U.S., that prosecutor would have just opened himself up to a huge lawsuit and could possibly be disbarred.

Sorry, I forgot this is in England. In the U.S., the police need a search warrant to do that.

Does the accused also have to hand over their phone and give access to their social media account? If they don't, it seems the victim has less rights than the accused.

I like when she says "well, it is a word that is used". There are lots of words that are used and are totally inappropriate. I think it must be "that time of the month" for her.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
